i found out about diabetes @ age like 15 and boy. the doctors were so like … “well its probably not diabetes” when i talked abt my symptoms and then even when it came back positive they were like “eeeeeeeeeeh maybe u have it maybe u dont”

I really think that doctors just Don’t want to diagnose someone young with any sort of chronic problem. ESPECIALLY with something like arthritis, which is so heavily associated with older people. they’d rather wait for you to be an Adult and have it get Worse before they’ll say “sure, yeah! you have it!” than maybe tell like a couple people they have it when they don’t.
