Hey there, just wanted to pop by and say how much I love all your posts about various SWTOR NPCs and your headcanons for them! Your posts, and those of some others, have inspired me to write my own little set of headcanons for an AU that’s always been in my head

Also, if you are still accepting asks about NPCs, can I ask about Lieutenant Kieral and Captain Biron, as well as their respective Sergeants (Katcho and Ennlicher) if their paths differ?

That planetary storyline on Hoth is definitely memorable. I'm rather surprised that none of those characters appear on my massive NPC spreadsheet. We don't often meet Imperials who are reasonable and honorable on the Republic side.

I've added them to the sheet, and now i have to decide which of my Republic-side OCs encounters them, and if any of those characters are still alive.

Biron definitely seems like the type who might join the Alliance, doesn't he? Maybe Kieral, too.

My answer feels insufficient; so here's the letter i got from Kieral when i ran through Hoth with Corellan.

Katcho - The Suspicous

Masterlist

As a prisoner of the Sith Empire, Katcho learned all about Imperial practices the hard way. After three months in their company he was able to escape and return to duty, although his perception would always remain coloured.

Getting assigned to Hoth under Lieutenant Kieral was supposed to be the perfect assignment, with an entire invasion force of Imperials to contend with. When the White Maw began to surface as the major problem, however, he was forced to work with the enemy to survive the unusual circumstances.

Storming the Chilling Death Spire alongside Sergeant Ennlicher and Havoc Squad, Katcho advocates for pre-emptive action against the Imperial forces, expecting them to betray the Republic forces at the opportune moment. When Havoc Squad's Commanding Officer convinces him to stand down, he is surprised when Ennlicher and Captain Biron remain true to their word.

Unlike Kieral, Katcho does not have a crisis of conscience and chalks Biron and Ennlicher up as exceptions to the norm. He replaces Kieral as the Lieutenant in charge of Outpost Senth and continues to fight the Imperial forces stationed on Hoth, never encountering his former temporary allies in the field again.

This continues until the Eternal Throne's conquest and subjugation of the galaxy stretches many resources thin and Outpost Senth is once again left without resupply. This time, however, there is no relief and Katcho is forced to abandon his position and retreat to Aurek Base.

Upon arrival, he and his men are court martialled for abandoning their posts and dishonourably discharged from the Galactic Republic Military. Katcho himself drifts for a while before being contacted by Kieral who offers him a place amongst the ranks of the Eternal Alliance, provided he can tone down his Imperial-based cynicism.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review: When I found out Vicious Spirits would be a companion book with Wicked Fox and involve more of Junu and Somin, I was so freaking excited! In the first book, you could already sense their amazing chemistry with each other and I NEEDED their relationship in my life. . . . I was not disappointed about the banter and romance that happened between these two. I liked how they both had flaws and weaknesses and they slowly had to work through them enable to understand why they felt so much connection with each other. 🌠Book Review🌠 Happy Monday loves, it's back to the regular work week for me. I hope you all had a fun & safe weekend. . I've been going back through my list of read books to make sure I have left reviews for everything, so don't mind me while I play catch up on books I read months ago 😅 . Book: Wicked Fox Author: @katjcho Genre: YA Fantasy Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Audiobook: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Miyoung is a girl with a secret, she's a gumiho, a nine-tailed fox who must devour the energy of men in order to survive. Living in modern day Seoul, she choses to feast on evil men who no one would miss. In the forest one night, after having fed during the full moon, Miyoung stumbles upon a goblin in the process of attacking a teenage boy. She makes the rash decision to save him but in the process, looses her fox bead (her gumiho soul), before fleeing the area. Soon after, Jihoon, is surprised to see the fox girl who saved him, is his new classmate. She pointedly tries to ignore him, but his infectious friendliness eventually wears down her guard & they develop a tenuous friendship. I had so many feelings when it comes to this book. I was invested in the characters developing relationship & hoped for Miyoung to finally find a place she could fit in. Some feedback I have seen for this story, includes those having issue with how it was marked vs the actual book. I will agree, this story is definitely not as lighthearted as the synopsis would make it seem, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Another issue some have, was that it reads very episodic -almost like an actual K-Drama- but that was just a plus for me. My one critique, was the frustration I felt regarding her relationship with her mother. There were some very simple conversations that could have taken place to resolve a good portion of the plot. Overall, I loved story & really appreciated the cultural and supernatural elements you don't often get to see in the western media. I am very excited to soon be able to read the sequel, Vicious Spirits, out next month. .
