The Beast gave the Merchant an enchanted ring that is to transport him back the castle for punishment after he says his goodbyes to his daughters. Nastenka, being the most selfless of the three, stole the ring and went to the palace in her father’s place. Expecting imminent death and a frightening abode, she arrives in shock and marvels at the beautiful, yet empty palace interior as Beast watches from the shadows.

Please spread lemur awareness.

EDIT: Alrighty so I'd like to clarify: The Sunda Lemurs are actually colugos and the tree frog and burrito lemurs at the end are actually called tarsiers. So correction: please spread awareness about lemurs and other things that kinda look like lemurs (primate suborders)
