my spidersona deadass has me in an artistic chokehold right now and i fucking love it-

this is just a little sneak peek at a character spread i'll have up in a day or so 😁

Something different this week I guess? @less-than-wholesome-shipper​ requested my own version of a spider-person. There is no Spider-Man from NZ so I did my own version of a Spider-Person based in Auckland, NZ .My computer is shit so I couldn’t work as much as I wanted on the details. I wanted to make a full polynesian-style suit and have more detail in the background but my laptop laughed and me and told me “one pixel more and I’m taking you with me, ya cunt” so here you have it! They wear a Tā moko; the mask is based on tattoos of the sun and the spider who bit them was a mutated Katipo, that’s why the suit is black/red/white (and the logo of the Katipo in the chest). Their name is Tui, based on the last name of my brother and the kiwi bird.

personality: blunt, sarcastic, sensitive, temperamental, tender-hearted, affectionate and warm

abilities/physical traits:

- possesses an enlarged adrenal gland compared to most spiderpeople, which helps to boost her strength and speed when she is in a fight or flight situation.

- has venom ducts in the back of her mouth that release a highly toxic venom when thoroughly stimulated. often have to be drained, with the venom being cultivated to coat her weapons.

- her webs are organic, resulting in her having to consume a lot of food daily to keep from straining herself when producing webs.
