"For the Little Guys"

So, here's my piece for NSR's upcoming anniversary. Now I can say I've drawn every single NSR character at least once (except Papa and Mystery Man I guess...).

Anyway, originally this was much more overtly tamagotchi themed, but it slowly just turned into just making everyone small.

I'm thinking about adding all the main characters too. I did some sketches of a couple already, but we'll see if I actually get around to it. If I do, then I'll repost it on the actual anniversary.

Kayane?

Kayane is great, she’s a background character but I think she’s got the potential to build something that could be a great payoff later on.

As shown in the green with envy chapter, kayane made a 1010 heros fan club, though to be fair she is keeping her word of learning about and appreciating Heros of the past and present... it’s just mostly 1010 lol

She’s Eloni’s best friend and they’ve been close since middle school. She’s very aware of his social anxiety and helps how she can to push him a little to help him cope better, though she won’t push if he is is visibly uncomfortable. Kayane is definitely the mom friend though.

Hmmm fun fact, she does remember a little bit about being corrupted, not any specifics, but she remembers the feelings she had when being talked down. When she was resting she did have time to think about the whole situation and how she was so upset she got corrupted. So deciding to take a small break from the drama club and make a new club was probably the best for her, the environment would only get worse since the new drama teacher was very much biased.

Uh, okay so depending on how you view 1010, it could be problematic, but I ended up being soft for Kayane and Green. It came outta left field for me. What do you think?

Nah you’re fine, this isn’t problematic at all.

I’m a sucker for Green finally getting a fan and finding love so I like the idea of Kayane and Green being together.

I’d imagine two scenarios, one where Kayane just starts off with her usual fangirling but over time she grows to genuinely love Green. And the other one where she finds out Green doesn’t get as much fanmail, so she literally showers Green with love. I like the second option more.
