Why are all of you critters wearing your belts?
Dogday answers first, in order to lead the way, although.. he's in another place compared to the rest of the critters.
"It's meant to protect my waist, since I had previously lost my legs. My arms were also strung up and I just never took them off.. my waist still hurts from when my legs were removed."
The next answer comes from elsewhere, where Hoppy, Bobby, and Bubba seem to be hiding.
"..It was meant to inhibit my own mind, due to my advanced and enhanced intelligence. Although.. it's also now hiding the bite on my head from Picky.."
"The belts on my wrists make it so I can't use the abnormal strength the scientists gave me. Although, the belts over my shoulder and chest are meant to put pressure on the bandages and chest.. since Crafty unintentionally stabbed me there.."
Then came the hiding spot where Kickin, Crafty and Picky in their own hiding place.
"The belts on my arms? They gave me the ability to glide, but I can't do that with these on."
"..It's meant to hide the bite mark Picky gave me.. although..this is my dominant arm. I can't draw as effectively with this belt on."
"..The belt on my stomach and this muzzle on my mouth.. I accidentally took bites out of my friends.. and so it's meant to make me less hungry."
Finally, there's Catnap, who seems to be by himself.
"..The belts on my wrists keep me from using my claws. I was a bit too dangerous, you see..I would have used them on those twins, but.. I figured biting down was easier.. even if I didn't get to do that. They were just too slippery.."
