a prayer request?

one day, i wish to be free of my inferiority complex and jealousy issues

Today, it is beginning to get out of hand, It's getting to the point where I envy someone's writing to be better than i do and my whole day became badly influenced by me constantly comparing myself with other people

Looks?

Art skills?

Writing skills?

Height?

Everything isn't safe at this point...

Heck im not even safe with the mangas and comics I read on my own, i ended up envying the artist's artstyle for each of those mangas and comics

i'm sorry to ask for this, but if it's alright, is there a bible verse that teaches against inferiority complex? Or jealousy issues and how to overcome it?

This is getting ridiculous for me..

As a writer, I think we sometimes forget that, just because a fic doesn’t do well, doesn’t mean it’s bad.

If I post a fic and it doesn’t do well, I’m still very proud because writing is something that’s I love doing

I think the reason I’m so pulled in by DAYS is because our main characters are given so much agency. Dong Kyung is choosing to love Myul Mang instead of simply going along with his plan. Yes, it’s to prevent the world from ending and we all know it’s a clever but bad decision, but that’s what makes it so fun, no? Like the writers could have easily had her wait out the 100 days and have them slowly fall in love, but noooo, she’s actively gonna love him. On the other hand, Myul Mang is choosing to accept her love, not only because he gets to die regardless of which option she chooses, but because he wants to truly experience being loved. What a delightful drama, omg.

I need to become better ( a need for a prayer request)

I've always had Inferiority Complex

I kept comparing everything myself to others

Sometimes it gets to the point where I couldn't read fanfiction, couldn't read comic books, couldn't enjoy art because it reminded me how inferior my skills are to those artists/writers.

Someday, I hope to vanquish that. I will fight my feelings of being inferior to everyone

I want to overcome this feeling

This is my prayer request to the person reading this.

Please help me so I can break free of this feeling of inferiority, this feeling that had gottten worse for the past 15 years. I don't want to just sleep all day because i feel like "what's the point of living, there's always a prodigy better than what I could ever achieve in life, what's the point of drawing, there's always a 12 year old finger ibispaint user who could do 1000x better than me "

I've had it! I'm tired of feeling this way but I can't control it! I want to overcome it but I feel helpless..

Me: *thinks of a series idea, has a really great scene planned out with dialogue*

Me: *realizes I need to write at least 3-5 parts in order to get to that said scene my brain came up with that started this idea in the first place*

One of my favorite things about this show is how the stakes are constantly being raised. The moment Gwi finds out Kang Bae is his baby boy and that to ease his life’s suffering, they have to settle his grudges, you can see a bit more dread in his face. He had made some peace with going to hell for Weol Ju (as hard as that must already be), but then he finds out he has a nugget too and his life also depends on him. He now has to go to hell for them both. He has to leave them both behind.

I love how excited Hae Kyung is to be in-like with Do Hee. While she’s still in...is it disbelief? Hae Kyung is clearly over No Eul but he still cares about her and that’s fine since they were together for 8 years. With Do Hee, she’s still affected by Jae Hyuk and I can understand that too. Despite having been in a subsequent relationship after Jae Hyuk, he had left her without an explanation which meant that their relationship was kinda left open-ended. Now he’s back and all of those feelings are now surface level. Except finding out that he had been lying to her has made her a bit apprehensive to start something new again.
