My life feels like an endless humiliation ritual.
“She’s so sweet she’s always going out of her way to help others” quick someone give that girl all the love and safe space she deserves before being “sweet” (pathological people pleasing as a trauma response) destroys her and leaves behind a bitter empty shell of a person
What are placements that could indicate an inferiority complex?
Inferiority complex
in the natal chart
The feeling of being inferior towards something, someone or just as it relates to your sense of personal worth and talents. They can manifest in a multitude of ways, but here are some of the ones I can name off the top of my head, based on what I've seen people go through in my personal life.

🪽 Virgo moons
You are very hard on yourself. It can be quiet easy to get on your nerves or strike a cord, especially if you feel inadequate. Can be quiet bitter towards other people who they deem to have what these individuals want. Feels like a salt to their wounds.
🪽 Virgo Stellium
The people with Virgo Stelliums in my life are always second guessing themselves to some degree. They are such harder on themselves than other people that I know.
🪽 Scorpio Moons/Moon in the 8th
From my experience with them, these individuals tend to go one of both routes; either make everyone else the enemy and blame other's disapproval of them "jealousy" or beat themselves up. Seeing themselves as this monster that doesn't fit with the rest.
🪽 North Node hard aspect Sun, Moon or Mars
It can feel like the world is just against you with this placement. Everything you dofeels challenged, but it does make for a stronger character in the end.
🪽 Sun square Ascendant
Your identity, worth, and self image not in alignment with how you want to be seen or are perceived by others.
🪽 Sun square Midheaven
Your career, your reputation and authority figures demanding more from you. Sometimes your efforts just don't feel enough or go unnoticed.
🪽 Moon square Saturn
Feeling inadequate, being hard or strict on yourself. Feeling like you're stuck or stunted.
🪽 Chiron placement (same w Saturn)
Chiron often indicates fear, trauma, insecure but also healing. So by that logic, the Chiron placement in your chart tells you where and how you may feel or have been treated as inferior. I have an old post about it here. As for Saturn, hard aspects to your personal planets tell tend to indicate that person being especially hard on themselves.

🪽 Sun, Moon or Mars in the 12th house
Sometimes makes you feel invisible.
🪽 Chiron aspecting Sun
Literally feeling inadequate. Feeling like you aren't enough, being "lesser" or smaller than other people around you. You have a hard time proving yourself to others & yourself as well.
🪽 Neptune in the 1st house square saturn, sun or venus
A little more specific. Not really seeing yourself as who you are, wanting to perfect this image of yourself in your head (your can set impossible standards for yourself).
🪽 Singleton Sun, Moon, Chiron or Pluto
A "Singleton" planet refer to a singular planet in a hemisphere of your chart that is separated from the rest of your planets (usually also barely making aspects to other planets). This one is rather progression based though, it's something you don't notice early on but build up once it's triggered. You might be just fine throughout your early adulthood but that insecurity or need for something more, just develops at a later date. Sometimes it's like being thrown under the bus lol.
🪽 Ascendant square or opposite Venus
As you might've guessed, the way you look doesn't resonate with what you find to be beautiful or attractive. This comes from a sense of self perception. Feeling like you don't look beautiful or attractive enough (not to your satisfaction).

Hey I’ve been struggling with developing a character’s inferiority complex. Do you have any tips on ways to show not tell this?
How to write an inferiority complex
An inferiority complex can be described as a chronic low self-esteem, a consistent feeling of inadequacy.
Causes:
a low status in the social hierarchy
specific aspects about themself (physical or something else) that are looked down upon in society
being talked down on a lot
a lack of parental acceptance
failing to live up to high expectations put upon them
not reaching a goal they decided on themself
How to show a character's inferiority complex:
People act differently with this diagnosis, sometimes also depending on the situation and the person they are with. Here are some ideas.
show them focussing on negative aspects a lot
not being able to see it when something did work out well for them
talking badly about themself
withdrawing from friends and family
not being able to take a compliment or criticism
demeaning other's as a way to make other's feel as bad as they do
trying to get attention and even pity
can be shown through perfectionism
and not being able to cope well if something does not fit into the standard they have
I hope this helps you out!

got any angst for us? working on some myself and i want everyone to suffer >:]
does psychotic episode count as angst?
I really like Toji Fushiguro (or Zenin). And it upsets me deeply when people make his entire character a deadbeat father who gambles and is hot.
No Toji Fushiguro is a lot more than that. Toji Fushiguro was treated like crap by the Zenin Clan for no reason other than the fact that Toji had no cursed energy. Toji was abused for so long that he, while it doesn't seem like it to the rest of us, was mentally a child.
Outwardly, Toji kills the most Talented and strong sorcerers and in a way, it's a way of telling the Zenin clan "I don't need you to be powerful". But Toji's inner child was always looking at the Zenin clan, wanting them to acknowledge him. Toji's inner child, no matter the age or moment, thinks "See! I'm not worthless! I'm powerful! Can I be one of you guys now?". And it's really, really sad.
The only person who validated his inner child was Mamaguro but she died.
Toji couldn't take care of Megumi, not because he hated his son, but because he didn't feel worthy to take care of his son. Toji sold his son to the Zenin clan and told the Zenin clan member to take Megumi in because Toji felt like Megumi would have a strong cursed technique, and even if Megumi didn't have a technique, Toji said, and I quote, "he's my son after all".
Toji tried to forget his own son's name, his son's everything. Because it is a constant reminder of how much of a failure Toji is.
Heck! When Toji killed Gojo and defeated Geto, he literally said "You have the blessing of Heritage, but even with that blessing, you were both beaten by a monkey like me who can't even use cursed techniques".
That's it.
Toji won.
Toji, defeated two special-grade sorcerers, the strongest sorcerers! Geto Suguru and Gojo Sataru.
That should make Toji happy right? That should make him feel better, Right?
Well, Toji's need for validation was never enough, because when he saw Dead Gojo, alive with an insane smile on his face, Toji gladly took the challenge of beating Gojo.
Toji died, and in his dying moment, Toji realised that his inner need for Validation was worthless, Toji wasted his life.
So now what? What were his last words? Did he say "man! I wish I had spent my life better!"? Or "you really defeated me..." like a dramatic villain?
No, he actually said, "In two or three years, my kid will be sold to the Zen'in family, do as you please". A subtle cry for Gojo to take care of the Son Toji had the chance to raise but never tried because Toji thought of himself as unworthy.
And that's why you, who have Inferiority complexes, should get therapy.
Have a nice day❤️
