“Knock, knock?” Lily said, stepping into the office as she placed the second coffee down and slide it over to him along with her resume. “I um... I got you a coffee. And I know, caffeine can cause a whole lot negative side effects, but sometimes you might need a um... well needed energy boost? Anyways, I uh... I was wondering if you might need an assistant? Part-time, clearly... But, I graduated from Columbia and just gotten into NYU’s graduate medical program before I um... died. I um... I wanted to be a doctor which seems less than likely now. But, maybe I could help you out a bit? From time to time?”

He could hear the creaking of the floor boards the second his dad step foot into the house. But instead of announcing himself right away, Hale sat in the large armchair quietly, buying his time. Blending almost seamlessly into the shadows, until Keanu was just about to meet the first step of the stairs. "Boo," Hale's said, his loud and low voice echoing down the hall as he flicked on the lamp beside him. "Aren't you a little old to be sneaking around in the middle of the night? And for me to have to put up with this tom foolery under my own roof no less," he tisked, a knowing smirk ever present on his lips. A deep chuckle managing to escape him as he folded the brail book he was reading and placed it aside, resting his hands behind his head as he reclined back into the chair.

“So what do I just pick one or?” Astrid trailed off, blinking back and forth between the two doors, starting to quickly feel the desire to chicken out for fear of making the wrong choice and then getting stuck in a not so cheery place with the other. “Are you sure, you don’t want to go first?”

“Hiya, Handsome,” Michaela smiled rocking back and forth on the balls of her feet as she held up two potions she had grabbed off of a passing tray. “Okay, so if we’re going to do this, we’re going to do this right. We each drink potions at random until one of us taps out. The winner gets the other to say ‘yes’ to whatever they want for an entire day. What do you say?”

"Keanu Kalua, my name is Michaela Beaumont. You questioned my ability to tackle you to the ground. Prepare to die," She teased, knocking him at full speed onto the ground. Blowing her hair out of her face as she smiled happily down at him from where her tiny frame now laid, on the ground on top of his. "Told you I could do it," She grinned, not bothering to move off of him as she asked, "So... you ready to go on that date or what?"

“Hey Stranger,” Michaela’s face couldn’t help but light up as she gave her boyfriend a light nudge. “Any chance you want to accompany me to the photo booth? And before you say anything, just know that it’s my birthday, just in case you were thinking about saying no.”

“Hey, Birthday Boy, what’s taking so long?” Michaela called up the stairs teasingly, standing in his front foyer fully decked out in an outfit she had legitimately wore back in the 80′s. The oversized Bon Jovi T-shirt practically swallowing her alive as she rocked back and forth in the chunky combat boots. She knew she’d be taking off the fake piercings probably right after Keanu saw them, but she had wanted to go big for his 400th and she couldn’t think of a better way to do that than let him relieve one of their favorite nights together all over again.
