@keeperofdragons since you sent this to my main, I’m just gonna answer it like this. Definitely more than 9 sentences.
Buck is woken up by tapping on his face, not quite slaps but not quite soft pats either.
He opens his eyes to see that beautiful woman, Hen, again.
"Wake up, sunshine," she tells him, leaning back. "We have a crew meeting."
"Am I part of the crew?" Buck asks, rubbing his eyes in the dim light dancing around in the infirmary.
"Well, I think that's what the meeting's about. You need help up?"
His head is still swimming and not from sleep grogginess and when he tries to put weight on right wrist to try to stand up, it tweaks painfully enough that he nods to Hen.
Hen crouches down to get a hand around his waist and hoists him up with a surprising strength that he finds a little intoxicating. But then he remembers how she'd warned him she wasn't interested so he forced himself to back off mentally.
Once he's on his feet, he tests both ankles and finds them acceptable to put weight on.
