Chris wasn’t having a very good time after his trip to Mexico to save Scott and the others. He’d let Kate slip away, guilt was eating at him and then Peter. He’d hoped never to run into him again, but then - in the sewers he knew the risk even if he’d originally been tracking Kate. He’d suspected Peter working with her, so he should’ve known he’d end up running into him. He was still hurting, but a hospital wasn’t on the agenda. 

He was alright without, curled up on the couch most days, healing and occasionally taking a stroll through the apartment so he didn’t end up immobile. It wasn’t healing like it should because Chris kept hunting when the Calaveras asked him to and he tore it open again, but the past three days he’d been at home. Resting. 

..until his doorbell rang. Only few people knew where he lived. It could be Scott, although he’d most likely text instead. Maybe the sheriff or Melissa, so he went to open the door dressed in jeans only, his abdomen covered in gauze. When he opened the door, he didn’t expect to find Stiles there. “Something happen to Scott?”
