MW!au headcanons

This is my ideas about how Gus and Keith are in this au:

Gus Grav

-green witch

-has nature based powers

-know spells to make plants grow and have a vast knowledge in botany

-owns a flower shop that secretly sells specials herbs and plants unknow by science that were usually used in witchcraft

-has a nature spirit as guardian called vulcan, which he can summon anytime he wants

-keith’s boyfriend and crime partner

-know a shitton of potion recipes

-has a wand made of old black oak wich he uses for default magic tricks(levitation, teleportation…)

Keith Fermin

-necromancer

-can see and communicate with spirits

-can casts healing spells and also curses into his enemies

-can raise deade people and have control over them

-owns a Necronomicon, the necromancy “bible”

-hired gus after meeting him on his flower shop, which later became his boyfriend

-like in canon, he’s know as Spectra Phantom

-also like in canon he’s power hungry and he focus his studies in learn how to control forbidden spells, he’s kind of a anti-hero

-he can summon a ancient dragon spirit to help him on special cases, his name’s Helios

Oh man I love these! Here’s my additions:

Vulcan is a rock golem, with little bits of grass growing on him. It’s hard to actually destroy him too, as the stones that make him up can fall apart and reform at will.

Gus’ home is right above the shop for convenience.

Gus is just as much an enabler of Keith’s power hungry streak as he is in canon, except when it’s in the shop. No one fucks with the shop or the house. Not even Keith. Take that shit outside unless you want to find yourself hallucinating from the floor for the next few hours.

Gus put wards up shortly after opening his shop to prevent necrotic beings from getting into the shop and his home, so he has to give Keith a special crystal he’s enchanted to let him get in easily. Necromancers aren’t prevented from entering by the wards, since necromancers usually aren’t undead or necrotic themselves, but the wards can make them feel sick, weak, and unwelcome because their magic is very much necrotic. Let’s just say that it was a very wild first time in the shop for Keith.

Also, wands are pretty good for more than just “default magic tricks,” as they are great for channeling magic through! So Gus probably uses his wand for a lot of things, including his plant magic.

Concept: Au where Spectra does manage take down the royal family and becomes Vestal’s new king. In a reunion some noble complains how he’s unfit and he makes Helios show up and scare them (consequently the others in the room as well.). Gus smirks at his side.

Thank you for your additions! I loved the "don't do your necrotic shit in my house" rule. Here some other facts about Spectra. Just in canon, he once was a normal guy, he used to study magic until he decided to search for more power, so he entered the world of necromancy and dark magics. Any more ideas for Keith?

Keith doesn’t have any specific apartment or anything that he goes home to, but he does have a bunch of safe houses/hideouts scattered about that he’ll use for sleeping, storing his stuff, and the like. After he starts dating Gus, he adds Gus’ home to that list of safe sleeping places.

Keith actually moved in from another town before arriving in the city Gus lives in. He left that town for two reasons: a big city is much more suitable for his plans and to avoid Mira. The latter is the bigger of the two reasons, as he didn’t want to have to deal with the morality crisis of his sister getting potentially involved in his criminal activities.

Hi there! I think you would be interested in know that I'm working on a Modern Witch AU! bakugan, staring keigus(that's my personal ship name for Gus x Keith(Spectra) ship). The mainly idea is gus is a green witch(or wizard) that has nature and plants based powers and keith is a necromancer and it all happens in a modern period. If you're interested i could submit a few more things about their roles in this au c:

PLEASE SEND ME MORE!!! I’m always interested in this stuff, and a Modern Witch AU sounds great!!! They must have an interesting dynamic though, if one has nature powers and the other has rot powers.

And witches refer to those of all genders that practice witchcraft, at least IRL.

@ the bakugan fandom and Gus x Keith shippers

In the New Vestroia's brazilian dub, Spectra, when talking with Gus, he often says "caro Gus" or "meu caro Gus". That in english it's literally translates as "my dear Gus". Just let that sink in.
