Just realized the first ep where we meet Mylene and Shadow and the last one where they show up both show Shadow deciding to follow her.

They remained together from the beginning till the end

I promised some Mylene/Shadow headcanons to the shlene anon so shlene anon if you’re reading this enjoy c: (everyone else too ofc)

-Mylene has freckles and she hides it with make up. Only Shadow and Keith (hc that they’re exes) know about them. Shadow insists she stop covering them because she looks cute and she replies that that’s the exact reason why she does it. 

-Shadow drives so bad because he has astigmatism. He’s a stubborn dumbass that refuses to wear glasses because it would ruin his aesthetic. Tired of dealing with the costs of destroyed ships, Hydron warns him that either he wears glasses or he will be forbidden from driving anything anymore. Obviously, he chooses the second option. But I still like to think he would finally wear them in a post-nv ‘everyone lives’ type au.

-They’re totally that type of couple that are very touchy but when you ask “are you guys dating?” they answer “nah.”. Mylene would be working and he comes to see what she’s doing and rests his chin over her head. Or he would be on the couch chatting with Lync and she would come and lean on him with a tablet on hands.

-Shadow curses but Mylene never does, but can if she desires.

-I used to hc Shadow as albino but if you pay attention he doesn’t look very pale? I mean, Mylene is much more pale than him. I don’t remember if there was any other white haired vestal in the background so i will just assume it’s just a rare hair color. 

-Mylene’s pupils are like that because of a genetic mutation, which doesn't interfere with her vision.

-the wiki states he is a noble so i will go ahead and hc that he is a viscount and was placed in the Vexos bc of his royal position. Meanwhile Mylene climbed to the ranks and was for a while the leader of the team until Spectra showed up. She's actually the second in command.

-she joined the Vexos after defeating Shadow (cinematic parallels~)

-they both get cold easily and huddle into each other like penguins. (ot3 bonus: Volt is their living heater.

-Mylene has her own bathroom in her room.  She asked for it claiming she didn’t felt comfortable sharing one with the guys (all lies, she just wanted to soak in a bathtub without having to share it). Too bad she didn’t considered the possibility of Spectra running away with the whole ship so guess which blue haired bitch has a bathtub now loll

in the human au in the beggining Mylene would call Shadow dumb or stupid in french whenever he did or said something dumb until their friendship evolves with her getting less prideful and he starting to respect her boundaries. One day she let it slip “you can be quite charming sometimes” and, to her surprise, Shadow answers back in french “you too”, and pokes his tongue at her surprised face and says “french lessons on third grade sweetie~”
