“If we acknowledge that animals are not insentient machines, the principle of equal consideration demands that we stop treating them like things.”
I haven’t been around here much lately, and that’s partly because I’ve been putting a lot of time and effort into the new version of my German vegan information project during the last few months. It consists of a website and a mobile app and offers (amongst other things) a rather extensive FAQ section, special advice for new or aspiring vegans, general information about veganism, animal rights, nutrition, materials and substances, clothing, traveling, and taking action as well as basic recipes and vegan alternatives for animal derived ingredients. So far the app has been downloaded almost 15.000 times, and it has made a lot of people’s lives easier – or so they say.
If you speak a little German, please go ahead and give it a try. Or do you know someone who does and might find this interesting? The app can be downloaded for free to Android or iOS devices via www.keiner-fliege.de/app
Thanks for your consideration, see you soon!
