My art for @okwtr ‘s fic between the subtle things for the @keitorbigbang !!! I co-artisted (a real word) with @natelii !! It was such a fun time. Admittedly, it all happened during the busiest time of the year, but I swear the Big Bang was all that was keeping me sane throughout midterms and Halloween!

This post is a full month and a half late due to many life events and school and me running away from tumblr because I haven’t seen the last season yet but yes I hear it’s um, quite----uh, hm many things happen but yes here it is!!

My first Voltron bang! Here’s my contribution to the @keitorbigbang. I got to work with @belovedsheith on her wonderful story put you through your paces. I absolutely fell in love with her Keith and Lotor and their relationship the moment she sent me her first draft! Go read if you haven’t already!

Summary: 

Becoming the bodyguard for the Galra emperor on a diplomatic visit to the Garrison? Piece of cake. Accidentally going into heat due to spending too much time with said emperor? Not so much. (In which Lotor asks for Keith’s help, and Keith gets a lot more trouble than he bargained for.)

Here is my piece for @extremegraphicviolins  ‘s fic for @keitorbigbang. This is my first time taking part in this and I had a very fun time working with the writer for this fic, you can read it here!

There had to be a limit to how much fate played a prank on Keith. First, becoming a paladin of Voltron, only to find out he was a part of the very race they had been trying to stop from destroying the entire universe. And when he accidentally touched the torch before it lit the sacred flame, he became Galra’s new emperor. No longer a paladin, asked to leave the Blade of Marmora, and now ruler to a race where he is far from welcome, Keith tries to find his place in all this. Lotor offers to help.

“The fight ends with Lotor caging Keith to the floor, wooden training sword pressed to the Terran’s clavicle. Keith has his teeth bared, still struggling under Lotor’s grip. He’d lost his sword sometime ago; it lies by the far wall. It doesn’t make him any less of a threat.”

Between The Subtle Things is such a beautiful fic! The dynamic between the characters is amazing! thank you @okwtr​ for writing it and having me as one of your artists.

I also did my first art collab with @parslynne​ (who also created some soft art of Keitor) to create the fic banner! It was really fun to be able to collaborate with these two wonderfully talented people.

When the Terran prisoner steps into the arena, Lotor would be willing to bet he stood no chances. Terrans aren’t supposed to fight like Galra, and they aren’t supposed to win, and they certainly aren’t supposed to catch the attention of the Galra crown prince. But Keith is intriguing, unrelenting, and he draws Lotor in with the intensity of a wildfire. They spar and talk and chip away at each other’s walls, and they find that neither of them is what they’d first believed. So when Keith gets the chance to escape the Galra ship, Lotor has to figure out his personal feelings – and what he’ll give up because of them.

My piece for the 2018 @keitorbigbang!

Rated M. 20.5k words. 

Content warnings: Abusive parenting (for Zarkon’s treatment of Lotor), attempted assassination, implied sexual content. 

Summary:

Prince Lotor has never cared for the kingdom of Daibazaal, and the kingdom has never cared for him—long since disowned by King Zarkon for his weakness, Lotor is the laughingstock of the kingdom. When Lotor hears whispers of an attempt on his life, he knows he has no choice but to leave if he wants to survive. Having never ridden a horse in his life, leaving proves to be much more difficult than Lotor had counted on.

But he also hadn't counted on meeting Keith.
