A short and sweet prayer to Lord Anubis before you take your hormone shot. c:

Dua Yinepu, Father of Transformation.

I seek your comfort as I take my hormone shot. Ground me with your strong presence and guide my hand so that the needle may strike true.

I praise you, Keeper of the Scales and Weigher of Hearts against the Feather of Ma'at.

Is it rude to ask my goddess to help me get better medically? I try to leave her as many offerings as I can and I don’t badmouth the pantheon or Ra on anything along those lines.

Kinda funny but when I was like 8 I believed in the Egyptian gods and often told my parents that when I died I wanted to be mummified. And like when we went to museums I’d always go to the Ancient Egypt part to look at the mummies. So it was KINDA like my first religion. Now I practice Helinistic Polytheism. Maybe I should ‘revisit’ Kemetism. Or maybe I shouldn’t.
