SPW: Thanks for asking! It’s never been described that way before, for some reason.

Kempo Master and Tattoo stand off to the side and in the background, commenting. Kempo has an exasperated expression, while Tattoo looks amused.

Kempo: (Oh no they’re encouraging the boss.)

Tattoo: (We’re in for it now.)

Panel Two:

Close-up. SPW seems to be yelling, as is his custom.

SPW: Step one! I cut it myself. Don’t trust barbers, they’re often gossips. (What if they give away my ‘aircare secrets?)

Panel Two:

SPW stands at a counter with a comb and bottle on it. He is putting up his hair while holding a blue ribbon in his mouth. He has a stylized, bleary expression.

SPW: Step two: Comb, massage with tonic and sweet almond oil, and loosely braid before bed. (When I remember).

Panel Three:

Similar to the previous image, except now he is brushing out one side of his hair, which forms a massive clump of tangles caught in the comb. The other side is poofing out. His eyes are narrow with only the whites showing in a stylized show of restrained rage.

SPW: Step three: give up on it ever staying calm.

Can we all appreciate the fact that Speedwagon’s nickname for Tattoo is ‘Tatty’?

Whenever I’m sad I like to imagine a modern day AU with Jonathan and Erina owning a YouTube channel where they makes desserts and cute decorations for the holidays. Like they’ll do “who can bake cake fast enough” episodes or teaching their friends how to make cup cakes and other things. It’s full of couple banter and they’ll help each other on certain steps if one of them gets stuck and the whole show is super cute and wholesome.

I also like to think that in the same universe Speedwagon has one as well and he just does a bunch of dumb things with Kempo and Tattoo, like viewer requests and vlogs with them walking around the city and in the slums.
