A little sneak peek on my Ken Washio 11-18 age reference sheet! His hair is still just an outline because I may change it. Plus, that is one gloriously thick mane and I need to see the underlying skull structure to keep his changing kiddo to adult proportions accurate while I draw the rest of the faces for this sheet. I'll have a better idea of what I'm doing once I get the row of profile views and 3/4 views drawn. He's so sweet faced he always looks a little younger than he really is. Oh hey, look what I dragged out again. And by dragged out I mean finally finished tweaking the line art to print it onto watercolor paper so I can paint it since my print beast is up and running. And that only took several hours because said print beast decided to be difficult and I’m also a dumdum who forgot what settings I needed to use. FUN. I’m not sure what I’ll do with the digital versions, they’re pretty much done. I did that mainly for practice and to figure out how to pull this crazy color scheme off. The watercolor versions will be the real deal. And they’ll be mine all mine! You no can have. But I might finally sell the original line art once I finish painting this insanity. Maybe. Anyway. Pencil shading to start, color to follow!
