John could sense Orrin's ability affecting Kayden.

Do you... do you think he can feel Keon's aura in himself, every time he closes his eyes?

Or maybe sensing trace auras is something he can only do with his ability active.

Do you think he feels violated every time he uses it?

I know Uru-chan didn't intend it... but it tracks with both why he would pretend to be a cripple and how easily upset he is when his ability is active. Feeling something so close to the core of you, but it belongs to somebody else...
