Since tags that use apostrophes don't seem to work particularly well, I'm changing the tag I use to identify posts about people who are important to me.
Friends, family, and people I consider to be awesome will be able to find posts relating to them with any and/or all of the following tags:
Keraniwolf Pack, Kerani Wolves, Keraniwolves, Keranipack
These tags will be used for my sister, her friends (like paniclovesmee and arrowena), my bestie (kittendi), my close friends (Ali, Liam, Alex, William, Kelly, Anthony, etc.), and personal family events (like when my brother comes to visit, when my mom has work drama, y'know, that stuff).
I also have some new tags for conversations with my friends as well. I'll use their specific tags, and then the tags:
Keraniwolves speak, Kerani Wolf Talk, Kerani Conversations
Of course, I also supply my followers with these tags so that they can block them if they like. If you don't want to know anything about my family, friends, or the kind of stuff that I think my friends will like, you can blacklist any one of these tags and you'll be fine.
Oh! Specific friends get new tags, too! My bestie Di-chan is no longer Keraniwolf's Di-chan, now she's Princess of Memories as the result of an inside joke we share. My sister is no longer just Keraniwolf's Sister and is now Imouto Wolf-- it's the only Japanese word I ever managed to teach her, so she'll know it when she sees it. Ali is now Spooky Wolfkin, unless she would like to ask for a different name. Liam is now Rainbow Wolf, a name I'm basing off of a truly awesome birthday present he once gave me. Alex is now Dragon Wolf, since their name is the same as a character of mine who sometimes transforms into a dragon. Kelly is, of course, Cthulhu Wolf as a result of her URL. Anthony is Corgi Wolf for similar reasons. William is Writer Wolf, given that his first conversation with me was based on our both being writers. intelligentairhead is now Trek Wolf, because such a strong interest in Star Trek must be rightfully recognized. ^_^
The only friend/conversation tags that aren't changing are Intrigued Anon (how would they ever find me if I changed their tag?) and any actual urls I feel are necessary to put in the tags.
If you consider us friends and are disappointed that I didn't yet come up with a new tag for you, or even if you're just in a mutual following with me (mutuals are a lot like friends, right?), or if you were included in this post and you want me to change your friend tag, feel free to drop by my ask box and request whatever specific tag you want. I'm trying to keep apostrophes and dashes out of my tags, since those seem to mess up the system, but anything-- literally anything else is absolutely acceptable and I'll 100% change to something you'll feel comfortable/happy tracking. I don't want any of my friends to be left out OR to be made uncomfortable by my choice of tags.
I like to show my friends things I think they'll like, and talk about how awesome they are, and talk with them in conversations on here; and I'd like my friends to be as involved in that and my other followers to be as comfortable with that as possible. So whether you're a friend who wants to track my tags or a follower who wants to avoid my personal friend posts, you now have the knowledge necessary to do either! ^_^
P.S. I don't include my girlfriend on this list because I no longer have a girlfriend to be tagged in the first place. If I ever get another girlfriend, I'll come up with a new tag for her at that time.
