Exeter Labour accused of recycling excuses instead of waste

Sooo there's this kerbside tree out front of our house. It drops branches on the road, our driveway, and we watched 3 kids scatter a month ago when one dropped right on top of them. It's roots started growing out beneath our house and the patio bricks have buckled.
Our real estate agents have complained to the council. We complained. There were 4 other trees, same species, in our street that were removed after people complained about them but ours... Well.
They cut the roots and trimmed a few branches last year and that was it. They refused to remove it. Came back over the year to remove ALL other trees in the street of the same type.
So anyway, first winds of a gathering cyclone have hit and a branch big enough to take up 2/3 of our front yard broke off. Luckily the wind blew it sideways and it landed at an angle, missing both roof and fence. But still. It's taking up 2/3 of the front yard. The rest of the tree is up there swaying, and these are winds before the (potential cat 2) cyclone's formed.
Big question: does this count as an urgent/hazardous situation? 😬
