love having a panic attack at night and only getting an hour of sleep

then getting a panic attack again at work and i almost cried in front of my boss not knowing why.

I got a kernel panic on a raspberry pi. It was totally my fault, as I was attempting to reinstall the operating system with dd from a thumb drive. In other words, writing a disk image from a thumb drive over the sd card which the operating system was running on. Strangely, every thing looked find until a tried to reboot the system.

This was the second time I did this. The first time Raspbian was able to recover from the strangeness. (Some message about resizing the root partition)

I should have loaded sha1sum into memory first and then double checked that the write was successful before rebooting.

(The reason I am not using a microSD card reader like a normal person is that I don’t have one currently, but I guess I will have to break down and order one  online)

Oh bother. This isn't good. I wonder what's wrong with you. I have a nagging suspicion it's probably the ssd drive
