Despite the hot day and a stressful week, I spent all day in the kitchen. It was so hot the AC couldn't keep up, thanks to the big boiling pot in constant use on the stove. It must have been 100°F in the kitchen. Today's endeavors included blueberry jam (old school, no boxed pectin, added an apple instead), spiced pears, spiced peaches, pear moonshine jam, and peach jam.
