The Fates ate my first post BUT I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED.
Here’s my selfships and OCs!
Marco the Phoenix - the fairy tail ship. No major angst, no internal issues. All the stresses come from external avenues. Practically love at first sight.
We met cause I had a panic attack and passed out a public event. When I came around to Marco over me, halo’d by the light I decided I must’ve died because there was an Angel watching over me. Once the misunderstanding was cleared we exchanged numbers and had our first date shortly after.
Eustass Kid - the antagonistic selfship. Everything is loud. The fights, the sex, the flirting. Kid lets me be loud in an oddly safe way, and giving as much as I get helps me keep him out of trouble. The terms of endearment are insults, and the lines of the relationship are blurry enough to include most of the crew from time to time.
It’s cathartic, being able to be loud and physical and having most of Kid’s apologies in the form of mind-shattering orgasms.
Sir Crocodile - the trophy spouse selfship. Yandere Crocodile liked what he saw and made it his, honestly. It’s hard to complain when he puts me in fine clothes and jewels and the sheets feel just as good as his hand sliding down my back does.
It’s not a healthy relationship at all, and I never really had much say in it, but it’s not the worst situation to be in either. Keeping the big guy happy is easy enough and I get plenty of time to myself.
Sabo - the not-quite-perfect selfship. It’s a little frayed, and a little desperate, and there’s reassurances needed on both sides, but there’s a spark there and a lot of respect and it’s kind of messy, but it works out in the end. Most of the issues are external, and some of the unsteadiness is just being afraid to ask for clarification.
It’s better to pine than to be turned down. Except we’re both pining and the tension is driving Koala to drink. 😅😂
Oliver Aiku - the unexpected selfship. The completely unwanted, wholly unneeded, WHO DOES HE THINK HE IS JUST WALTZING IN HERE LIKE THAT?! Smarmy asshole. Complete, just…. Augh!
Oliver chases and I run, but I don’t play soccer and I can’t outrun him. It’s not enemies to lovers, it’s more like love at first sight and I refuse to agree to it. Soul mates but I’m trying to transfer this mark onto a tree and go into WitSec.
OCs
Quill - it’s a pen name. Literally.
Quill was cursed to reincarnate into different worlds and has lived over a thousand years before they’re born in the One Piece world. The problem is they don’t remember anything before being hauled aboard a pirate ship, so they don’t know why their body changes every time they sleep, or they ended up in the Ocean.
Quill’s “canon” story sees them rescued by the WBP, but there’s AU’s for the Kid Pirates, The Revolutionary Army and Doflamingo currently.
Keyes Freed - childhood friend of Quill. Knows who they were prior to their memory loss. Freed’s in a tight spot himself - talented at fighting and haki, he was forcefully made into a double agent because Big Mom threatened his family.
Now he’s a Captain in the Marines, working his way through ranks he doesn’t care about, to fulfill orders from pirates he hates, in order to spare his parents and sibling from the Soul Tax.
When he learns Quill isn’t dead he ends up in a real tight spot, cause they don’t remember him. 😭
Symphalian Avilia - my villain OC. Avilia doesn’t like anyone but herself. She’s centuries old with a deep grudge against Imu. She incorrectly thinks that she has to eat the DF user of the Phoenix fruit to sustain her power and has had her sights set on Marco for a long time.
However he’s surrounded by powerful people, and is, himself, not an easy target.
Her story is long and tragic and terrible, and I initially meant for her to just be an awful villain, but the reasons for her actions have started to form and that one-note plan is quickly becoming an orchestra.
