i’m blushing and it’s taken me like 10 times to actually start writing my response to this because your comment was so freaking sweet and it just made me happy to see how much effort you put into responding, like thank you so much. 

it also made me feel a lot more confident about this when you mentioned that every part of the triad was equal because i wasn’t sure if i pulled it off, trying to do different dynamics while not portraying any of them as more important than the other. 

i’m going to hold this comment close to my heart and read it when i’m feeling discouraged, thank you so much <3

thank you for the comment! (i did a reply like this b/c i didn’t want to reblog everything again since it’s a long post and rn scrolling through my tumblr on mobile takes like 12 minutes because of how long it is lol) and honestly i’m not a huge gency shipper either so this was an experiment in “am i able to write a ship i’m not passionate about?” because i tend to only write shipping things when i really, really like a pairing 

but yes! thank you! i’m glad you liked it even when you don’t ship gency lol that’s probably one of the best compliments i could get

oh my god this fic was so cUTE AND FLUFFY. i havent even really thought about my ships with any of them but this was so sappy and fluffy and it warms my poly heart thank u ppl write fics like this so rarely

i’m glad you liked it! lol tbh this was probably the most character-juggling i’ve had to do for awhile and it was /fun/ to write, so i’m really really glad that it’s been well-received

ive heard that line in-game before!! it always makes me sad but yeah i hear it a lot bc i play mercy almost all the time and theres like. ALWAYS a reaper so ive heard it multiple times

@zillyspace gotchaaaaaa! i swear i haven’t heard it before and mercy’s the character i’ve played the most as, but i also admit i don’t pay much attention to the voicelines b/c i’m too busy trying to get my team to say hello and jump around lol

@theglowqueen aw thanks haha. i struggled w/him a bit so i’m glad i made a decent choice for his reaction~ it might have been loosely based on my first time babysitting when the girl hit her head and wouldn’t stop crying and then i was almost crying lol

Oh my gods the hp gets adopted by reaper is so cute and it's awesome and amazing and I love it so much it's just (ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh screams into the distance) I can only imagine the post-letter stuff, an update on it would be amazing (whenever you feel like tho, and if you don't the pre-letter is wonderful enough)
