My February BL favorites:

Day 6: Khai/Third (Theory of Love)

In honor of episode 8 and how absolutely unhinged it left me my favorite pairing for today is KhaiThird. Hands down my number one absolute favorite pairing of all time. Are they a perfect couple? God no, but that's is such a huge part of why I like them.

This is the pairing that got me back into writing after I thought I would never enjoy doing it again. That alone cements them into my top favorites, but it's not just that. I liked how flawed they are, Khai is a selfish ass and Third is very self flagellating and mulish in regard to Khai and his friendship/relationship with him. I like the complexity of that, I like the raw edges around them, and the way they learn to see each other as they really are and not just as an idealized version of the other. I definitely defend the need for good representation of healthy relationships in media, but I also believe that it's important to understand that we're all flawed, that we may do things that hurt others, but we always have a chance to be better, to learn and to change. KhaiThird are a good example of that for me.

Chapter 2 of my Khai/Third fic is up.

i really need to get all my writing out before classes start. I'm already behind on the reading for the new semester and, honestly, I care very little about it at the moment. But, alas, it must get done.

So, all of that to say that hopefully this little fic of mine will be fully completed by the end of next week.

Well, I wrote another Khai/Third fic because I have no self control.

Good thing is that I finally started medication for my ADHD which surprisingly makes actually sitting down to write and edit soooo much easier.
