Late again. So, @khoc-week day 5 - What does your character do in their free time?
...Lot of things. lot of random sketches.
Talia and Touma have lot of different interests, both in and outdoor.
Tia wanted pretty dresses from the avatar board but they never had enough munny to buy amenities because medals were too expensive. So Tia started sewing herself, it’s now her passion and most of their outfits are handmade. Plushes too. Perfect for lazy sundays and bad weather days.
Touma is a bit of a nerd and he likes reading and studing stuff, especially history and evolution of magical items. A book who’s trying to write himself, indeed. Well, for now, collecting notes and bribing moogles with delicious food (handmade, cooking is one of his biggest passions) in exchange of some -rare- infos. He’s basically a pain in the ass of every Moogle in every world. A Moogle molester.
Mapping new areas and taking notes about treasure chests, lucky emblems, materials, EVERYTHING, makes him so satisfied. It’s probably a bit of OCD, but he says he just loves to be organized. He’s basically the journal of the two of them and he could spend a whole day cleaning his medals (and Tia’s because she’s too lazy) and divide them for type, level and play with all kind of settings. they don’t use medals anymore in KH3, but they still have some and he still likes taking care of them.
As wielders, training is also a very important part of their daily routine! They both pratice a bit of personal sports, for fun and relax. Touma likes climbing trees and running, especially early in the morning, or training his Spirits in DDD. they miss SO much DDD’s flowmotion. Unlike him, Tia is a sea lover. She likes swimming, especially during beach days with their friends.
On the true side of their physical trainings, they usually sparring together. Touma developing his defense and magic skills and Tia focused on attack, since they work as team during missions (but sometimes even with other party members).
most of their time in KH3 is training and clearing secondary missions for Sora.
Especially during Union X, when Touma isn’t around, Tia likes dating boys. She’s helplessy romantic, extremely naive and too much flirty at the same time. but she’s young and it’s for experience, so it’s fine. xD
Spica occasionally visits the dreams of those closest to them. At first, they were only casually familiar with Xigbar, and mostly via already being Ansem’s partner. Their relationship was merely friendly until one night, when Spica decided to visit Xigbar’s sleep.
It's during this walk that Spica learns that Xigbar has definitely seen Dream Eaters before despite them being foreign to nearly everyone else: after all, aren’t those cat-puppy things waltzing around the village in his dream Dream Eaters? Alas, the dream rapidly turns into a nightmare, and their conversation continues during their wake...
At first, Xigbar beats around the bush by claiming to never have actually owned a Dream Eater--the first Spica knew they could be owned in the first place--he still ends up revealing a lot about the creatures to them. It’s through Xigbar that she realizes Dream Eaters are not all powerful deities but simply part of a greater system and that there are intricacies to them beyond simply regulating sleep.
Half-jokingly, Spica also offers to become Xigbar’s personal Dream Eater, since he never had a Chirithy (as they learn the creatures in his dream are called), and despite him initially brushing it off and attempting to shake off her curiosity, they are eventually able to help pry apart some deep seated issues via dream therapy.There’s only so much Xigbar allows them to see and ask about, and he is liable to shut down if they pry too deeply. Indeed, Xigbar is hiding some massive secrets...but Spica doesn't mind.

so.... i decided not to do the springstorm trio for the end!! this is Midnight Chrysalis (either Midnight or Chrys is fine!). he’s a keyblade faerie - Specifically Repliku’s (renamed Shiro) keyblade fae!
Apparently I’ve also never posted his reference sheet like ever, so this is like 2 years old oops
He ties in (obviously) with my Repliku Lives AU, in which Repliku renames himself Shiro & basically makes a new identity for himself (he joins Lea & Kairi as a new keyblade trainee and they become the novice / trainee trio of sorts!!) & due to this, Soul Eater reforms to a new keyblade. Unfortunately because Shiro’s heart was damaged in Castle Oblivion, so was Soul Eater / Midnight Chrysalis, which is reflected in his physical / fae form (his left arm is unusable and hidden in his yukata like a sling & his abdomen looks like cracked glass almost).
Despite this, Midnight Chrysalis is incredibly loyal and will stop at nothing to protect Shiro’s heart, even forsaking his own physical health in the process.

It’s Day 6 of @khoc-week and I’m doing the prompt — What special connections does your OC have?

For Sam, her closest connection is to Jim Hawkins from Montressor. The two of them grew up together and they got together romantically shortly after he returned from Treasure Planet.
He was the first one encouraging her to join Hinata on her mission, as well as comforting her after she lost her arm, and even helped her build her first mechanical arm to help replace it.
They don’t get to see each other often, as Jim is often at the Interstellar Academy and Sam is off helping Hinata on various worlds, but their connection remains strong.
I unfortunately don’t have any art of them, but here is an excerpt from Third Beginning, when Jim confesses to Sam that he loves her.

Currently, in Hinata’s story, it is in the middle of Kingdom Hearts 2 and Riku is in his Ansem form. It took a while for him to grow comfortable with letting Hinata see his new face and hear his voice, but Hinata never missed a beat.
She reminds him often that he’s still Riku under it all. That it doesn’t change anything about who he is and how she feels about him. It takes him a while to believe her and keeps distance between them. But she stays true to her word and never changes the way she acts around him. Remaining supportive and trusting. And eventually, he lowers his guard and sometimes, he feels like himself again when they’re alone.

Here is an excerpt from Forgotten Traveler where she convinces him to wear some comfortable clothes and let her change his hair. But click read more at your own risk, cause there’s some spoilers in it!
Spoilers being: No one can remember who Hinata is at this point of time. Riku feels close to Hinata, but can’t understand why. He knows they used to be together, but can’t remember any of it.

"Yeah," Riku chuckled, looking back to her. "You can go along with them if you want."
"I know," she smiled softly, keeping her gaze on the unlikely trio as they made their way back to the garden. "I'd rather stay with you, if… that's alright." She brought her eyes to his. "Unless you'd rather be alone."
"Uh, no, no, that's fine," he quickly looked away, clearing his throat. "I was just thinking of changing out of my coat into- you know, actual clothes."
"Oh!" Her face lit up. "That's great! Are you going to try the shirt that Noct got you?"
"I was thinking about it," he smirked, walking towards the mansion with her in tow. "I shouldn't be surprised you care so much about what I wear."
She laughed, "Well I mean, it's not so much the clothes, per se, more… I guess you getting more comfortable in your own skin is what I'm excited about." She beamed a smile up to him. "I do think the shirt will look nice on you though."
His ears warmed as he looked away with a soft laugh, "Heh, thanks."
They continued to walk, neither of them saying anything as a comfortable air raised between them. Riku held the door open for Hinata as they walked in and they parted ways so Hinata could retrieve the shirt as Riku went to his room. She was knocking on his door a couple minutes later, holding up the shirt with a bright smile when Riku opened it. He chuckled as he let her in, suddenly feeling the slightest bit self conscious that he wasn't wearing a shirt. Turning away from her gaze, he slipped the shirt on. It was thinner than the coat he usually wore, softer as well. He took a deep breath, for once not feeling overheated by a thick, long coat.
He turned back around to face Hinata, his face warming at the loving look in her eyes as she took him in.
"You look a lot more like the Riku I always knew you were." She noted, softly smirking from her seat along the edge of the bed. "It's nice."
He looked down at his clothes. An outfit he would have worn without second thought in his old form. In this new appearance, it felt strange to wear anything other than the coat, but also familiar.
"I'm scared to look in the mirror," he admitted sheepishly.
"Don't be." She smiled, standing and grabbing his hands. "Come on, I'll even do your hair differently, if you want."
"U-Um, sure," he stammered, allowing her to pull him into the bathroom.
He kept his eyes averted from his reflection, watching Hinata as she hopped onto the long counter to be at his level. Placing her hands on his shoulders, she gently turned him around, pulling him towards her until he was between her legs and the counter met his back. His eyes slipped shut as she began combing through his long white hair, her fingers occasionally brushing his neck to gather loose strands. She worked with ease, Riku's heart pounding and fluttering with nerves as she styled his hair.
"I wanted to apologise, by the way," she softly spoke up.
Riku's eyes fluttered open, his eyebrows furrowing. "For what?"
"If I made you uncomfortable earlier," she told him, pausing for a moment, her fingers combing through his hair. "About pressuring you to talk to me, rather than waiting until you're comfortable and ready."
"Don't worry about it." He subtly shook his head, trying to make sure he didn't move too much to disturb Hinata's work. He let out a breath, admitting, "I just need to get over myself."
She giggled. "Sam said the same thing about herself earlier. I wonder what it's like for her being around me, even without all the stuff with Thaanix."
"I feel for her if it's anything like how I am around you," Riku joked, making Hinata laugh.
"Well, don't rush anything," she told him. "I'm perfectly content to wait until you're ready… for whatever it is."
She slid her fingers on the side of his face, grabbing the shorter pieces of his hair and pinning them back.
His eyes slid back shut. "I have a feeling you already know what I want to talk about."
There was a few seconds of silence before she hummed. "Maybe…" she admitted. "But I might also be wrong." Bringing her hands back to his shoulders, she gave them a light squeeze. "Alright, I think I'm done."
Riku opened his eyes and turned around, first taking in the sweet smile she sent him, before he looked at his reflection in the mirror. At first glance, he was almost unrecognizable as a clone of Xehanort. His hair was loosely braided down his back, appearing fuller than normal with much more volume than the straight locks ever had before. The shirt Noctis had gotten him fit perfectly and the embroidered roses offset with the color of his amber eyes. A soft smirk tugged at the corner of his lips, the longer he looked.
"Well," Hinata slipped off the side of the counter, standing beside him. "What do you think?"
"I feel more like me," he admitted, looking down to her, his eyes softening at the smile she sent back to him.
KHOC Week Day 6 ~ What was your character creation process like?
Unexpected, and exhilirating.
When I created Nie, I had just finished a Kingdom Hearts TTRPG, and everyone was eager for a sequel. The problem was the logical antagonist for the sequel was the Master of Masters and... well. We still don’t know a lot about this guy!
So I created Nie, and I got very lost in them.
Design-wise, I made a few key decisions:
1. Not an existing cast member. Nomura had used black coats to hide incomplete designs, there was no reason the MoM had to be a character we knew.
2. Youthful! A new COOLER black hoodie for an ancient and immature antagonist and lots and lots of anime hair tucked impossibly in that hood.
3. Distinct from the silver-haired, gold-eyed antagonists.
And I also had a really solid idea of how my players were going to stop Nie; they were going to kill Nie. Yeah, I really thought Sora, Riku and Kairi Kingdom Hearts were gonna murder. That was a thought I had, it was going to be morally conflicting and everything.
That’s the best part of being a DM, is the story you tell isn’t yours, it’s everyone’s.
The story I told ended up becoming more about overcoming trauma and dissociation and learning to connect with others again. About reaching out to people. About letting go of a past, to reach a future. About being the person that you needed. About being that person for someone who needs it.
And that’s how my party adopted my antagonist, the end.

Bunny
1. Bunny thought she had lost everything once : her world, her parents, her friends. However she had found solace in knowing her brother, her everything would always be her side. She always fully trusted him in whatever he may try or do. That's why his betrayal in the last moments of the data version of Daybreak Town hit her the hardest. It was like her whole world had crumbled right before her eyes and... She couldn't do anything.
But what she didn't know was that Anis never betrayed her...
3.Bunny's whole world is her brother. She does hold her friends dear too, she would give them the world too. But more than everything Anis is the most important thing for her. She wouldn't feel complete without him even if they sometime fight.
Anis
1. Anis had a very hard time when he awoke in Radiant Garden after years of being in Xehanort heart. He quickly realized that everything he knew and everyone he loves had ever left or had not recollection of him. To add insult to injure, Bunny seemingly didn't take the pods to be teleported into the future. She was asleep like the rest of his friends. It broke Anis heart to know that not only she thought he had betray her but he ended up being the one to go into the future. The only positive thing in his situation was the presence of his Chirithy. Thanks to him, he didn't fell so lonely.
3. Exactly like Anis is Bunny whole world, Bunny is Anis most precious person. He cherish her as much as she cherish even if he sometimes don't succeed to show her. He wouldn't be able to live on if he didn't do everything in his power to save her. He also feels a attachment to her keyblade. I didn't mention it before but Anis and Bunny can summon each other keyblades. The explanation they were always given was that since they twins, they may have identical hearts. After he awoke, Anis find comfort in seeing his sister keyblade even if she was broken.

2. It isn't really a nobody or heartless form but... a dream eater form ! Since Bunny and Anis were both created as Khux character i thought it would be fun. Anyways on the left i drew Bunny's Chirithy and her dream eater form. I thought that, obviously, the bunny dream eater suited her perfectly ! As for Anis, a cute little sheep dream eater was a given. I think it shows his personality very well. Also it's a given his Chirithy would rock a leather jacket and a mohawk !
Pêche
1. Pêche story is rather complicated x) Even i sometimes get things confused so i'm gonna try to put it simply. Pêche was originally named Piry. Piry was Xehanort only student. They were close but slowly Xehanort started to give in to the darkness. He ended up trying to separate Piry's heart in two.
However, he had no idea how to do so. Daisy (on the right) and Poppy (on the left) were the result of this attempt. Daisy heart leaned towards the darkness and Poppy's heart towards the light but neither could have been qualified as pure light or darkness. Eventually, Xehanort was more successful with Ventus and Vanitas. However, when the fusion of the two boys failed, he grew mad. He was persuaded he could have made them whole again. In his stubbornness, he tried to do the same with Poppy and Daisy. However their hearts had grown different in 13 years and they didn't fit anymore.
Oblivious to the damage it would do, he brutally forced them to fit, destroying chunks of each parts. However, Xehanort did managed to make them whole. But it wasn't Piry who appeared before him. It was a totally different entity. A entity with a heart broken beyond repair, no better than a puppet. This failed experiment result who would be eventually named Pêche after her hair that was the color of a peach (Pêche means Peach in french).
Where Daisy memories were fussy at best, Pêche couldn't make out any of Poppy nor Piry memories. On this day they not only lost a precious person, Poppy, but also the master they always tried to love no matter how horrible his actions were. They also lost her sense of self. They also lost their identity and what made them a person.
3. Pêche's heart is too damaged to feel things. They neither feels love, happiness or sadness. The more they feel on a daily basis is attachment. They particularly feels attached to Vanitas. He is a constant in their life : They knew him when they were Daisy and later on, in the new organization, they were working with him. Their attachment extended to Xion because them and Vanitas were charged of teaching her in the New Organization. After meeting them, they also feel weirdly protective of Sora and Kairi but isn't capable of saying why.
oooh my it was one looong day ! Anyways i feel like i geeked about all of them so much. I also want to add that i tend to make my oc backstory overly complicated ( i'm looking at you Pêche) so i'm sorry if it's sometimes hard to follow. Also naming my ocs after food is a must. Anyways lots of kudos to all the others people participating and to the mods :D I'm sorry about the BRICK OF TEXT
