Okay so like imagine Prince Rhaegar seeing this beautiful "woman" with long silver hair fighting in the melee with such great swordsmanship and all and so when he spots "her" in the stands, he crowns her (instead of a Stark) as Queen of Beauty and Love.
EXCEPT that this swordsman? Is a guy. Specifically Squalo. Xanxus and his merry band got thrown into Westeros (maybe because of the bazooka but the reason doesn't matter).
Xanxus really isn't pleased that this sky is trying to steal his storm away. He's also looking for another throne to sit on so... good luck westeros. You'd think dealing with this small group would be easy, but mist flames? Wrath flames? Ahahaha whatever Xanxus wants, he's going to get because there's no Nono to get in his way.
Well, except for the ruling part. But is Xanxus really going to be any worse than Robert? Nah. But he's sure going to have a shit time trying to get his laws not just passed but also implemented.
I just watched some Tinkerbell movies and my brain can never resist mushing my most beloved khr into things. So I ask thee!
Who would make the better Guardian Fairy? Skull DeMort, or Hibari Kyoya? Specifically, they would be the guardian/guide fairy of whichever cloud isn't a fairy.
So either Hibari Kyoya learning how to use his weather magic/flame from this cowardly little fairy that prefers just staying in his shirt-pocket.
Or Skull DeMort learning how to use his magic/flame/how to fight from this angry little fairy man that absolutely bullies him for being a bit wimpy.
Both dynamics are absolutely delicious actually! And each time, the human would have something whimsical and joyful about themselves btw.
Hibari would find joy in speeding through the clouds and using his magic to ridiculous degrees. Like creating huuuuge storm clouds when he wasn't supposed to do that at all.
And Skull would find his joy doing endlessly risky airborne stunts and loopy-loops and he would always do his very best. Of course, he would always have trouble covering up that one pesky sun-magician who seems to specifically shine his baby-clouds into extinction.
I'm picturing just. A lot of flying around and cloudy mischief, all while a little fairy is either grumbling about responsibilities, or encouraging even more mischief!
Of course... All the joy would be overshadowed by the weirdly ominous storyline of the sky-magicians....
i’m sure people have an idea already how I think of flames from my previous posts, in how I believe Nature vs. Nurture has it’s effects, especially in how it affects how they fall on the Flame Scale of Polarized/Classic. How Flame Personality Types are more like Horoscopes, sometimes so eerily right while other times laughably wrong. I’ve even created a whole new type of Deathperation flames while expanding on my thoughts for Flames of the Earth. how I believe everyone has flames in the world, even animals do, they just haven’t yet entered out of their dormant state they stay in. But I don’t think I’ve ever mention just how having flames has effected the people who do have them awaken.
Note, I have been very inspired by so much fanfiction for how I think about flames, from InsaneScriptist and Cywscross to Araceil and Reighost, a lot of their works inspiring my own thoughts, even if they are not the same.
By the way, here is a mini glossary for Flame Terms I’ve made :D
Ignite: when a person’s Flames spark for the first time, going from their Sleeping state they’re been their whole life, and on the first step to being Awaken.
Sparking: it’s the state between Sleeping and Awaken, where after a Flame User’s flames have Ignited, they steadily get used to being used over a period of time.
Sleeping: the dormant state all flames are in at the beginning, the person building up their will and drive as they go through life.
Awaken: the final state a Flame User goes in, having fully woken up their flames from their dormant state, and ready to be used.
Flare: It’s when a Flame user uses their flames to check out a situation, person, and/or threat. Can be aggressive or a comforting gesture, depending on the emotions and state of the User.
Clash: When two or more Flame Users just do not get on, whether from a difference of ideas, thoughts, or actions, their flames react blisteringly to each other, pushing and burning as they run against each other. Can happen with all Flame types.
Harmonizing: When a Sky finds an Element that not only fits them, but is just so compatible, amazing, almost perfect for them, the two form a bond of Harmony, creating at times an emotional, and even a mental link given enough time. There are in fact two ways to Harmonize:
Sudden Connections: When a Sky Flames gets a feel for an element, and likes them so much, they claim them then and there, the other flames not fighting it either because of surprise or they two like the sky’s flames.
Flame Covering: it is a long drawn process of covering your element in your flame, and the element letting you do so as they in turn cover you as well, your flames in constant contact as they get to know one another and bond properly, trust building as you do.
Gravitation: When a Earth Flame finds an element that fits them, balances them just as they help balance the other, fitting neatly on a scale only they can feel, the two form a bond of Gravity, aiding and helping the other with an emotional stable point, as well as able to eventually give physical boosts as well. They can have Sudden Connections to, but can also form from something else;
Communication Building: Because their flames are more physical, as time goes on and the Earth Flame continues to talk/debate/communicate, Flaring their flames at the same time, and the element does so in turn, and keeps coming back willingly, a gravitation can slowly form over time as they do so, both participants knowing and completely happy to do so.
Bonding: all flame users can do this, can bond with any other out their, through friendship, rivalry, hardship, you name it, there flames will just cement it even further, wrapping around the other, and leaving a spark or bit of their flame there, linking them together.
NOTE: there can be some sensitive stuff under the cut, red more if you want.
Instinctual:
Now, no matter what, and in how I will probably have it in all my stories, Flames are all about survival, first and foremost. every instinct they are in charge of, every thought a Flame Awaken person will have, will always be fueled by the instinct to survive. This of course, will have the effect on the person in that they will most likely think more on ways to continue living, how to make it through the next day, how to carry on. This is also one of the reasons the Mafia has so many Awakened Flame users, because they can constantly enter situations that cause their flames to Ignite and Wake Up.
Now, when you combine Flames and regular human instincts, it can cause some interesting situations. You know how when you look at a person, and can just feel like they’re a creep to stay away from or you just don’t like them? Your Flames can feel your uneasiness, and depending on what kind of person you are, can remain passive or aggressive if the situation warrants it. Or say that, for example, you want something that is most certainly not good for you, can in fact hurt you; your Flames will not take kindly to that at all. They will remain nonreactive, unhelpful, or even downright hinder at times to ensure their User stops doing said thing.
(Example: Say a Flame User wants to be a Guardian of a Toxic Sky or something; the person’s flames can feel just how bad this will be for them, how this can destroy them as a person, and thus refuse to be used for such a dangerous other. the flames will balk, writhe and shudder, forcibly scrunch themselves into a ball if needed to just avoid the Bad Sky... Of course, for all their attempts, it doesn’t mean a particularly stubborn Flame User and Sky can’t work past this, much to the Flames chagrin)
Now, some people have different instincts and thought processes, not to mention illnesses that can both effect the mind and body that throw the whole person’s Flames out of wack and control. (Ex. Flame Countermand, Draining Will, Depression, Overflow, Sky’s Folly). This can directly effect the flames a person has, mental illness affecting Flames of the Sky worse while physical illnesses effect Earth Flames worse (because each flames have their strengths and foundations, but what happens when those foundations are so weak?) So a Flame user wanting to die, even as their flames scream against it can happen, maybe able to hold out for a while more. But if the cause is not checked out, those weaken survival instincts can be drowned out.
Of course, personalities also are a very big influence, as well as a person’s way of life. A Flame user who is asexual, for example, will not suddenly just want to have sex all of a sudden if someone’s flames flare invitingly at them, a seduction technique and such. Sure, maybe they can get hit with an aphrodisiac, but their flames of survival, of instinct and know something is wrong will not take that lying down, can in fact react violently to it. Flames are much in the control of their user, and are only the other way around when a person has way too much flame to control (this is why Flame Limiters, Seals, and Gauges are made, to help they poor sods). And those that are that powerful are very damn rare, not even most of the Vongola Family have any, with Giotto and Ricardo the last ones reported as having such power. Otherwise, consent is consent, and one must remember it, otherwise someone’s flames will not be happy. And trying to use one’s flames to influence someone is not easy, the person’s own will Clashing with the others, even if they are friends.
(After all, men and woman both have said their urges were instinctual, why can’t they indulge, they were asking for it... Rape is still rape, end of discussion :T)
But on this, social bonds as well have an effect too; people are social creatures, we create Hierarchy and food chains, as well as our own groups. We gather around people with like interests, who will hopefully build us up, and Flame Users are similar. A person can still be Sleeping, but if a Flame Active likes them, appreciates them, of course they are going to hang out with that person, flames or no flames. (the misconception of Flames users only hanging out with other Flame users stems from the fact that, well, Flame users tend to accidentally Ignite their friends with all the Flaring checks they do on them.) In such groups, Harmonizing and Bonding can form. But like any group, abusive actions can take place, and like in reality, just as hard to leave; but it is not impossible. Guardians can break their Bonds, just like any other Flame User, but it will take time, and effort, and so much will power, just like anyone in an abusive environment. It can be done and things can get better, even if you are not the same person you were before.
Flames and your instincts can effect your life, they can change it, but like with any person, they do not rule over it.

Imagine Xanxus in BNHA where he's stuck in a classroom of children of 1-A where saying "I'm not here to make friends" results in them have a dozen or so friends within the week.
Then we also have Aizawa confiscating all of Xanxus' smokes and alcohol in the dorm while Snip holds all of Xanxus' guns when the guy isn't in class.
Hey do you know if xanxus was conscious during the 10 years he was frozen?
Imagine if while he was frozen, his conscious and soul had been stolen by a system and he was transmigrated to some other world à la Shen Yuan style... Okay, this has potential.

Because imagine Gojo getting this weird ass invite about the "strongest" flame users and like, sure he's the strongest, but flame user??? But he's curious to see what kind of meet up this is, so he decides to go in costume for shits and giggles. And he winds up Reborn for shits and giggles. All those bullets can't touch him; none of the slaps make contact.
It's so freaking funny (for Gojo). It's really a pity that he can't spend all his time with these hilarious people. His vacation time is almost up and he's got to return to his kiddoes and missions.
(And then Gojo gives checkerface a good beat down and then a merciful death after checkerface tries to turn him into a chibi. Like please! The world order was already obviously messed up if curses are still being created. Gojo is tired of all these monkey faces trying to tell him that things are "for the greater good".
Okay, in a SVSSS world with KHR flame, Shen Yuan would obviously be a Sky - it really amplifies his whole wife-beaming halo. But Luo Binghe? Luo Bingge could be a sky too with the way that he's able to woo and captivate all the ladies, but Luo Bingmei doesn't give sky energy to me. He's giving me feral chihuahua energy (cough Hayato Gokudera energy) like a Storm. But what do y'all think?
