KHR AU: Abnormal Ones

"Okay, so are any of you actually human?" Reborn asks, exasperation evident.

No one raises their hand.

"I am the world's greatest hitman and somehow I'm the most normal one in this room?"

so an AU where none of the tenth generation are actually human and they all knew except Reborn

KHR Abnormal Ones AU #2: Tsuna

Tsuna feels the world in sound waves. The vibrations of footsteps, the rustle of leaves, the beam of the sun. They’re all sounds to him, and he feels them so strongly he can hear the thoughts and mumbles of people as if they were speaking right into his ear. Loud noises are hell for him. He can also hear the supernatural whispering around him, but can’t see them. He’s ‘sensitive’.

Wears headphones or earphones or earplugs at any given time but it doesn’t help. The ground tremors and it feels like earthquakes, constantly. If he’s in water he can hear the fishes. 

He can understand animal speak but as usual, they cannot understand him.

Is terrified of storms and lightning and ryohei but he learns to kinda cope.

Always knows what is happening in the building 

Can’t focus on conversations, feigned being deaf for half his life. Learned sign language and reading lips just to avoid speaking (he doesn’t like speaking either).

Can effectively navigate in the dark, like a bat, echolocation.

KHR Abnormal Ones AU #5: Hibari

not gonna lie, I had this one in mind for a while now.

Kyouya is a land guardian of Namimori. He battles against invading spirits, a whole Yokai world kinda role. He is leaps and bounds stronger than usual when he fights on Namimori grounds, and gets weaker out of it. If needed, he can control buildings or trees as if they were extensions of his body, and speak to inanimate objects as if they were children. He also operates the weather schedule of the town and keeps it working.

Is essentially son of the miko of the shrine, and the komainu love him. Most of them are just scared but he’s virtually respected, because he’s like, master of this land. They ask him if they can invite friends from other towns over here and he would be like your curfew is eight.

Although he can control the weather, he has a schedule to follow based on what the older spirits decided. It’s a tradition important to the land and its harvest, so he obeys.

His abilities are often mistaken to be telekinetic, and they kinda are, but for him it only works because this is his territory, and he has a code to put everything back together once he’s done.

He can regrow trees and fix walls in Namimori.

There is a barrier around the town that disallows the spirits to come in and go out without permission. 

All spirits stem from a story, and it is his duty to know and remember all of theirs, because they disappear once they are forgotten.

When spirits stay in one place for too long they might leave curses, which is why he always scatters the humans that crowd. He thinks it’s bad luck.

KHR Abnormal Ones AU #3: Yamamoto

I’m still going slow with this AU, I’m not too sure what to make of some of the characters, but I have a general idea of what I imagine Takeshi would be. Here goes nothing.

Takeshi is a shapeshifting immortal. He is physically incapable of dying, though he is capable of aging if he desires to. He is capable of hiding as an inanimate object or another person when necessary. (His voice changes with them, but he has to act out for a personality.) He is still learning the ways of humans. He is partially incapable of empathy, his laughter is ever present because he doesn’t know fear. He doesn’t know exhaustion or sickness much either.

Was probably around during Primo’s reign, but he just doesn’t connect the dots. 

His current form is based on Asari, which is why he looks very similar.

He’s adopted by Tsuyoshi, who found him outside and decided to raise him and teach him humanity. Most of what he knows is borne from the man’s gentle teachings.(and the man himself is fully aware of what he picked up and put into clothes. He’s just cool with it.)

He is ridiculously great in history but he gets awful results because he keeps relating it personally (”but Okita really did climb a mountain just to spite me after I found out about his sickness”)  He also sucks at literature because he dk human emotions.

People usually can’t tell if he’s shapeshifted into something, but Hibari can tell because things are out of place and Tsuna can tell because of his hearing. Hayato just knows because of I-hate-Yamamoto-sensors.

“Ricardo? Oh, that guy?” “wait, you know him?” “Yeah, I burned his hair one time.” “wait, what?” “He got really angry at me.”

KHR Abnormal Ones AU #6: Chrome

Chrome is a ghoul, but not exactly like the Tokyo Ghoul ones. She has an eternal craving for raw meat and blood, but she can also eat normal human foods, though the satisfaction is not the same. Her ability allows her to gain the information and abilities of things she eats, but only temporarily. (like about five minutes or something)

She doesn’t necessarily have to eat. Even just taking a nick of their blood or sweat or smth is enough, though she’ll get less information and abilities don’t last as long.

If she eats a fish she grows gills, if she eats chicken she gets tiny wings and tries to get Hayato to teach her how to fly (but those are too tiny to fly and Ken tries to eat them)

If she eats a human, she might get their most important ability for five minutes. (if she drinks some blood from bianchi, she can turn things she touches into poison cooking.)

By gaining ‘information’, she can find out things like where that person was, who they work for, their passion, and details of their abilities. 

This is also part of the reason why her parents didn’t want to save her after her accident. It was just, all in all, creepy af.

KHR Abnormal Ones AU #4: Gokudera

Hayato is a fallen angel. He can sense the emotions and desires of people around him, so he can sense hostility or know when someone is in trouble. He has wings, but they are retractable and black (tainted). If he keeps them in for too long, the base get irritated and he gets restless and moody. Which is why he is always angry.

He is immune to lies, spiritual places hurt him (like shrines) and animals sense his tainted status so they determine he is of lower rank. 

Is hopelessly devoted because he is an angel, and loves unconditionally, though he is fated to not be loved back (due to his fallen state). Eg animals/Uri hates him, Hibari naturally declared him enemy at first.

He attracts bad luck and problem children, which is why Bianchi is all over him and Lambo is more often stuck with him. He’s kinda supposed to guide them onto the right path of something, as is the fated mission of angels and the such. 

He is endlessly spiteful of authoritative figures that haven’t earned his loyalty (because after getting tossed out he decides he’s going to distrust everyone until they give him a reason to trust, which is why Tsuna saving him = I would die for him)

Angels were trained to have incredibly high intellect, which is why he is incredibly smart and incredible specific in everything. 

They are also trained to be nice, but he’s a fallen now so he does everything he can to not be nice. Which means smoking and be a delinquent because that’s his impression of a bad person.

thousands of miles away in korea, kim seokjin sneezes during class and then bows meekly when his classmates throw him dirty looks.
