I was in Australia for a bit - my uncle and aunt live there - and they are pretty hooked on Pakistani serials. Way too many for me to keep pace but the aesthetics drew me in. Keeping in mind that TV serials are not a true reflection of street styles (Hindi serial sarees!) it was still interesting to see the colour palette, the styles, the differing styling based on social class, profession etc. Some of it was familiar from North Indian styles expectedly but also a fair few differences.
I think I now need a lawn suit:) Also some of the dupattas - an item of clothing I am very partial too - were lovely.
Itne khudgarz aur patthar dil hum kaha, ki woh mohabbat na kare toh hum bhi karna chhod de💔

OMGGGG YESSS. I was thinking that but I didn’t want to hit you with 2 extreme thoughts in one go. I always got the feeling that Hasaan-Aairah might be end game. I feel that it’ll be justified through the fact that he has realised his mistakes, truly repented and tried to redeem himself. The fact that he wasn’t always an outright evil person and was led to this path by his very own father. He’ll realise his love for his brother and want to treat Junaid’s son as his own and try and instil in him
The values Junaid used to live his life. It’ll show a full circle for him but I’m guessing Munawar will come out the biggest loser because he let his ego get the better of him. SORRY TO HIT YOU WITH ALL THIS JUNAIDLESS STORY IVE MADE UP. Also what do you think of all the actors? If you had to rate them out of 10 also taking into account their characters! Lots of love
Honestly..I would’ve been quite excited about this prospect of Hassan and Ayera being together because I actually like this trope “we areforced into a marriage due to reasons and now we have to make it work” (hey! this is why I so quickly fell for Junaid-Ayera!!) but i dunno..I’m just skeptical about this situation in THIS drama. Cuz Junaid and Ayera..they are just so..PERFECT together. These two deserve a happy ending where they are together. I can’t ever see Ayera agreeing to be with any other man let alone HASSAN! Because even if the man repents and proves that he has changed for the better...it just doesn’t look like Ayera to be quick to forgive and accept him. She holds grudges against the people who did her wrong. The woman hasn’t forgiven her father for abandoning her the way he did..how will she forgive Hassan who she KNOWS to be the cause of not only her ruination but Abeer’s as well? It just..doesn’t make sense to me. Maybe they won’t be together. Maybe Hassan will semi-adopt Junaid’s child and be a father figure for her (I think it’s gonna be a daughter judging by the pink party Abeer threw for Ayera) without ACTUALLY being her father. Omg what if they kill of Ayera as well!?!??!
Bruh..Khudgarz is making me care for actors I never thought I would i.e. Sami Khan and Syed Jibran! I said in previous Sami Khan ask, I have never cared for him as an actor but Khudgarz has made me sit up and notice him! The conversation Hassan had with Umar today just made me cry..Sami was THAT good. I know it’s just February but Sami DESERVES some major acknowledgement in next year’s award season because he has already given an award worthy performance. With Syed Jibran..I think I’m more attracted towards his character BUT he is playing it wonderfully..all of his innocence and maturity. Mansha Pasha was greaatttt in the episodes when Abeer goes for therapy, but now she doesn’t have much to work with. Aamina is wonderful as always, the way she has shown Ayera’s depression and grief is just too good. I have always liked her in crying scenes so really, can’t find any flaw in her. I think apart from the actors playing Raheel and Munawar, everyone is doing a fantabulous job! The Raheel dude is just...there and Munawar sara time ek hi shakal bana ke ghoomta rehta hai xD
Have you seen today’s episode of Khudgarz? I SOOOOO LOVE THIS DRAMA. The way Hasaan was shown talking to the little girl and then the flashback to what he did with Abeer ughhh. I love the fact that Hasaan’s change was gradual and it didn’t start at a masjid but with the humbleness of another person. I’m acc liking the mother too, she started speakinf up at the right time and Junaid and Aairah are acc goals. The prefab was sooo sad tho 😭😭
EXCUSE ME BUT WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT PRECAP?!?! JUNAID BETTER BE SAFE!! HE IS SUPPOSED TO LIVE A LONG LIFE ALONGSIDE AYERA WITH THEIR FOUR KIDS AND NINE GRANDCHILDREN!! ASJDHASKEUAYWEAWEJKSAhDSHJ;AD! :@
On the other hand...Rida Bilal should start giving lessons to the other drama writers on how to write compelling characters! Specially the “negative” characters. My god..i did NOT think I’d ever cry with Hassan but lo and behold! He had me wiping tears that I never thought I’d have for him. THIS is how you show transformation. It’s not one trip to a dargah and jee banda sudhar gaya. Hassan’s change was slow and gradual and it makes sense. When Umar told him that he shouldn’t treat an alive thing like it was already dead, those weren’t just empty words. Because Hassan, while cruel, was never far gone as to not even realize if he had done anything wrong (like he knew that hitting Abeer was an actual offense that could get him in trouble). He had just forcefully locked his conscience away so he could go around being “khudgarz” without fearing repercussions. But away from his life where he thinks he is the biggest victim of circumstances and living life in seclusion, being forced to face his conscience and seeing people who have had it actually worse than him...he has no choice but to acknowledge every wrong thing he has done. He has just started his path to redemption, he hasn’t achieved yet. Of course that’d be the hardest thing for him seeing how running away has always been his strategy when faced with any trouble. But that’s something he’d HAVE to do.
