I was in Australia for a bit - my uncle and aunt live there - and they are pretty hooked on Pakistani serials. Way too many for me to keep pace but the aesthetics drew me in. Keeping in mind that TV serials are not a true reflection of street styles (Hindi serial sarees!) it was still interesting to see the colour palette, the styles, the differing styling based on social class, profession etc. Some of it was familiar from North Indian styles expectedly but also a fair few differences.

I think I now need a lawn suit:) Also some of the dupattas - an item of clothing I am very partial too - were lovely.
