stuck as a child forvever
Did a silly little watercolor painting yesterday. Nothing special, but I worked hard on it and had fun, and my newest student said it was good enough to sell for $100. I love working with kids. I love the way they blossom with consistent praise, and I love the way they’ll turn the compliments back around on you.

I like the whole idea of Han calling Luke kid forever and Luke being like I'm the same age as your wife Han.
Oh, most definitely. Han 100% calls Luke “kid” from the minute they meet in Mos Eisley till their deaths in extreme old age. (Like, old age such that Luke starts making Yoda jokes about “when 100 years you reach, look this good you will not.”) Han and Leia’s children and Luke’s students (many of which, let’s face it, are pretty much adopted children of his) all find it hilarious.
Han: Hey, kid. How’s it going?
Luke: Han. I’m the same age as your wife. We’re twins. In fact, I’m the older twin.
Han: That’s nice, kid.
Luke: I’m seventy-five years old, Han.
Han: Great, kid. Wanna go flying?
Nothing has changed
8 year old me: *Any party* I WANT TO SIT WITH THE ADULTS!!!!! Mom: When your older sweetie. Pesent day 16 year old me: I'm still sitting at the kids table. Mom: You can move a chair to sit with us. Me:*squint eyes and slowly drinks juice box*.........never.....
