Can't remember if I've told this story already
>parents have recently divorced
>living in mom's hometown
>+10 local aunts and uncles
>my parents are in their 30s; both middle children who got going late
>most of my cousins are in their late teens
>none of my gen is being raised Catholic... but mom and her siblings were
>hence a lot of young and frequent pregnancies, fast marriages, loss of faith, and fast divorces
>point being: my older aunts are all starting to empty nest, learning how to cook for one for the first time, taking up jazzercise, etc
>my younger aunts have basically just moved out of my grandparents' house themselves
>we are all big broad women... but the older aunts are thinner
>I have a vague notion of pregnancy and how it changes your body, but not that men are involved in any way. I have more aunts and cousins than uncles, after all
>QED, female body fat IS pregnancy and women are entirely in control of when they can have the kids
>my thinnest aunt (who married into the family) also has the most children. There you have it
>any time someone laments their weight in front of me, I tell them to just have the babies, like it's the most obvious thing ever
>idk how I never got corrected
>pester my mom for the little sibs she's clearly carrying for me
>drink too much pool water and puke over its edge
>cry because I'm sure I hurt the babies I'm already carrying
And that was how I learned (a little) about human reproduction.
