Do you ever see someone and think "Wow, God must hate me" 'Cause he spent so much time on them and for me, he got lazy?

me when i pick an incredibly depressed and absolutely destroyed by life character as my fav/comfort character and the moment i draw them i feel the need to explode because i can only handle so much angst (it's not even that much)

anyway ummmm not much about this drawing, i kinda drew it bc i had a very sudden idea something about embracing your inner child

i also needed to draw someone hugging someone else as some form of comfort for myself idkk

also ignore that the anatomy is really really funky you'd think that after 8 years i'd know how anatomy works but low behold i'm still terrible at it :"D (also i don't understand the proportions of an 8 year old so kid stan ended up looking a little older than he's supposed to be but eh)

MY FIRST EVER STANUARY THINGYYYYY

Since the first week was youth & age themed, I went with a little air dry clay figurine thingy of kid!Stan and his possum cause Shanklin is so cute

As well as its fluffy gray body over the red top of the shirt is really similar to his red and gray hoodie from his mullet form which was a plus

Eventually once I’m sure it’s fully dry, I’ll be coating it in resin to make sure it is as durable as possible since the clay isn’t very durable itself lol

But hey for my first time doing anything like this + first time using clay in months I think it turned out pretty good!

Edit: forgot to add, but at some point this month I’ll be posting a new fic! It’s either gonna be a very long one shot or two chapters, it’s already completed I just have been forgetting to post it lol. Sadly it’s hurt no comfort unlike the others cause I couldn’t think of some way to continue it to a happy ending lol
