i liked hetalia VERY BRIEFLY in 2013 but it was a huge spike followed by a quick decline in which i probably drew the characters more than i actually watched/read any of it

no real hetalia fan  watches/reads the actual thing and if they do they usually reject all of it so you were more of a real fan than many, I’d say

Bandcamp’s cut is the nicest. I get $9 from a $10 album (and you have the option to tip more if you want!) Google Play and iTunes only pay me $7, I think. I’m happy with any sale though, so use whatever works for you!

Meme explanation: kinkshaming & "how many times must you kinkshame me in my own house"

Making jokes about kinkshaming is a classic meme from SJ tumblr that has become more mainstream and popular in 2015.

"Kinkshaming" refers to criticizing someone for their sexual kinks. The meme does not follow a specific format, but in many cases the joke is based on referring to patently nonsexual activities as "kinks."

Origin: kink has been the subject of Discourse™ on tumblr since at least 2011. Kinksters sometimes call legitimate criticism of kinks "kinkshaming," and even sometimes claim it as a form of oppression.

Because of this, a joke arose making fun of the concept of kinkshaming.

The oldest examples I have found are these two posts from October 2012; however at that time it was a very small and isolated trend.

Kinkshaming jokes became more prominent in 2015 with examples such as this post from January 3 referring to tax fraud as a kink.

"how many times must you kinkshame me in my own house" is a spinoff of the kinkshaming meme. On June 12, @kiddzbop​ made the following chatpost:

me: *kisses my beautiful wife* my son, a child: ew, cooties! me: son, how many times must you kink shame me under my own roof

Since then, people have made derivatives of that post, including references to Hamlet, cats, and David Cameron, which you can find in my tag here.
