It's almost the end of the holiday season, here in Italy we're waiting for that old grouchy lady named Befana to deliver socks full of sweets and treats tonight... Well it should be stockings but in my family have always been regular everyday socks - clean ones! :) But today is also the first day of #kidlitpostcard2023! So let me tell you a little bit about who I am and what I do: I’m Angela, an illustrator and surface pattern designer with over 10 years of experience in making sweet and playful art for children’s publishing, fabrics, stationery and home decor. I have created a variety of illustrations for children ranging from magazines, baby board books, picture books, educational and activity books for publishers such as Usborne, Little Hippo, Igloo books and more. I have also designed prints and patterns for a range of different products, including fabric, children’s products and stationery which I have licensed to companies such as Apricot House and Illustrabimbi or sell through my Spoonflower and RedBubble shops. I love to create artworks that make people smile and add a hint of cuteness and quirkiness in their everyday life. My style is jovial and narrative: I like my illustrations and patterns to tell stories with funny characters showing their personality in a joyful and, vibrant context. I’m available for new projects and looking for representation. I’d love to work on coloring pages, picture books, puzzles, and toys with you!
