Manhwa men :0
I absolutely love manhwa male characters (and characters in general) who are different from the norm. Male leads who are war heroes and warriors, but without scars, usually short black or blond hair, fair skin, and sometimes red eyes, with serious, enigmatic personalities and demeanor, and so on.
I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that; there are many characters like that that I really like. I just really enjoy it when there's one that breaks that pattern and is something "new."
Hakkan, from "Kidnapped Bride," is a good example of breaking that classic mold. A black man, dark-skinned, with long hair, tattoos typical of his people, king of a nation of dragons in the tribal style. He was the first black male protagonist I'd ever seen, and it was love at first sight. XD
Pellus, from "Another typical fantasy romance," is also a great example, because not only do his scars and beard give him a different look, but his personality is too. Pellus's body is covered in scars, both large and small, which befits his role in the story; his beard makes him appear older and more mature, And although he looks intimidating and serious, the guy is actually the true definition of a "gentle giant," and he's very cute! ^^
Finally, these are two of my favorite boys from manhwas, I love them, and I love their differences. ♡(ӦvӦ。)
