here’s an update in my life in case anyone’s wondering (prob not)

tuesday night into wednesday morning i had a lower stomach pain that slowly started getting worse. i also couldn’t pee, so i assumed it was a UTI. took some meds for it and tried to eat and relax, but it just started getting worse.

pain got worse and i threw up, thought i was just working myself up or something. then i threw up a couple more times and the pain was the worse pain i’ve ever felt so i went to the ER.

got checked in, got a CT scan, got fluids and painkillers. was there for 2 hours and found out i have a 3mm kidney stone, which is thankfully on the smaller side. i don’t remember where they said it was located exactly, but they game me flomax and tramadol.

it hasn’t hurt that much since i went to the ER, but i’ve been super tired and barley had an appetite sooo. yeah hopefully this bitch passes soon.

After a quick bowel washout and shower 🚿 when I got home from hospital, I’ve spent the afternoon in bed, ostensibly watching movies, but mostly sleeping 😴! Had to wake up briefly for a catheter change (had to get the icky infected one out and a nice new one in... Aldi, it was due last week and I already put it off by a few days because I was too busy, and I’ll be too busy to do it next week!), to pot up my weekly meds, and then I did my nails whilst watching Beauty and the Beast to distract myself from post-passing-kidney-stone pain.
