Concept for first family: Jack and Urbam get into blowout fight and Jack is in the wrong and you have to confront/tell him.
Please and thank you!
You heard Urban’s bedroom door slam and your husband was still fuming over an argument that happened between him and Urban earlier that morning. When Urban attempted to resolve the issue early in the afternoon, it led to a screaming match between the two and it honestly made you upset.
They had never fought like this.
Ever.
“Baby, can you believe him?! I mean seriously?!” Jack asked you and you immediately hesitated.
Truth be told, you could believe Urban simply because you knew that he was right and Jack was definitely the one in the wrong.
But the hard part would be actually telling him that.
“Um, babe? The two of you need to fix this and get on the same page. You two have never fought like this. I don’t even remember the two of you even having an argument before. And I’m going to need for you to calm down.”
“How in the world am I supposed to fix it if he doesn’t even want to see my side of things?” Jack asked you as he sat down on the couch and you quickly sat down next to him.
“Boo bear, you didn’t let him explain his side of things either. You immediately just jumped down his throat.”
Jack then simply looked at you and eyed you and then knew for a fact that he was catching onto you not agreeing with him.
“Oh so, you’re taking his side?!”
“Jackman, first of all, do not yell at me. We don’t talk to each other like that and second, I didn’t say that I was necessarily taking Urban’s side.”
“Then what in the world are you even saying?”
“Baby, it’s not about me taking sides, it’s what’s wrong and what is right and in this very moment, you are wrong.”
All Jack did was shake his head in disbelief.
“I’m your wife and it is a part of my responsibility to be completely honest with you because I love and care about you. I don’t want this to turn into a bigger thing than it needs to be. That’s your best friend in the entire world.”
“Clearly too late for that.”
All you did was sigh and had a feeling that the response that Jack was giving you was going to lead to him and Urban not talking.
“It isn’t too late if you both be adults about this and talk to one another without yelling involved.”
“I don’t even want to be bothered with it right now.”
“And that’s fine, but before the day is over, the two of you need to end this.”
Jack didn’t even bother saying anything, so you took the opportunity to turn his face towards you.
“You know that I love you and I only want the best for you, right?” You asked Jack as he looked down at you.
“I know, I love you too.” He quietly said and you knew that he was slowly coming around.
“Now go talk to Urban and the two of you better not come down here until it’s fixed. You got it?”
“Yes ma’am.”
