Clio's Kill Black - The Holy Grail of Liquid Eyeliners
Oh, Clio. Let me start off by saying that I've heard so much about you, and it has taken me way too long to figure out that you are THE holy grail of liquid eyeliners.
My Clio obsession actually started when I started living in NY and people here would ask if I had tried the Clio Kill Black Waterproof Pen Liner. I had seen it plenty of times at an Olive Young along with the Lee Hyori ads in Seoul, but for some reason never thought to try it out.
Well, geez - if I'll look THAT good...
Perhaps it is because I have been pretty faithful to my gel pot liner. I've had my complaints about liquid liners - I hate it when it gets flaky at the end of the day and I personally don't do well with super thin brushes.
But after my experience with Clio's Kill Black, it eliminated both of my concerns. The brush/pen applicator was precise at the tip and the base of the brush was thick enough to support broader strokes. I could easily convert from thin to thick lines in one go. Most importantly the color was waterproof, it was intensely black all day.
