Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (yes, I’m posting two rants in a day...deal)

THIS MOVIE WAS THE SHIT!! I loved every beautiful second of it, from the actors' flawless portrayal of angsty teenagers, to the marvelous incorporation of a video game layout. Hilarious, exciting, with a necessary dash of life-or-death drama. Bethany’s character development gave me a whirlwind of feels, SpencerxMartha forever. Freakhouse is the perfect name teenagers would give a creepy house in the middle of the street. Oh my gods, poor Alex, my heart hurt when he found out how long he’d been in the game, but HE NAMED HIS KID AFTER THE GIRL WHO SAVED HIS LIFE, EVERYTHING IS BEAUTIFUL. The overly creepy, unrealistic person that was the villain in the game is exactly what I wanted to see, because that’s usually how video games are--especially video games that had, until very recently, been a board game. And, when I saw that Alex had been staying in the hut ALAN PARRISH built...*mind blown* SEE THIS MOOOVVVVVVVIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEE, you will feel no disappointment what-so-ever!!!
