okay. i just realized what tiresias was talking about in no longer you. i'm so dumb
song of past romance = would you fall in love with me again! literally a song about odysseus telling penelope that he isn't the love she knew in the past, and asking her to love him just the same anyway
sacrifice of man = referencing scylla (not the horse and the infant)! ody literally sacrifices 6 men in the future. how could i have missed that
portrayals of betrayal = scylla again, possibly mutiny (not keep your friends close)! poor ody. poor eury
brother's final stance = i suppose mutiny or thunder bringer, as these are the final times odysseus tries to save his men/as well as the last time the crew stands united against a single force
(i see you) on the brink of death, draw your final breath = monster. like odysseus' literally kills his humanity after no longer you. his humanity was the thing that drew its final breath. AAAA
at least, this is my interpretation! i always thought it was odd that tiresias would talk about things in the past when he's a prophet, and odysseus wanted information about his future journey. maybe i'm just dumb and i'm the only one who didn't know, but i figured it out! (hopefully)
