Hi, honey, I'm immortal || Simon
Isabelle's dark eyes scanned everyone she passed, sticking close to Alec's elbow as they walked the short journey to Simon and Jordan's apartment. She could heal his heart beating, feeling the warmth radiating from his skin and everyone else's too when they got too close. She could also feel the wind against her skin, but there was no cold.
She took a breath, hating the fact that it didn't see to provide any relief to her stressed mind, nor did it make her feel any better. In fact, it made her feel worse, reminding her that she didn't need to breathe. Reminding her that her heart wasn't beating. Now, that was an odd sensation at best, she felt like she should be clutching at her chest, trying to breathe life back into it, but that wouldn't work. Not now she was technically dead.
They made it past the people, past the beating hearts of all the innocent mundanes she'd spent her life trying to save and now she wanted to kill them. She balked at the thought and set off running up the stairs, faster than normal, faster than even a speed rune and yet everything stayed in perfect clarity. She could see everything. Reaching Simon's door she banged on it with her fist, loudly.
