bella was really trying to better herself in the aftermath of well...everything. the sex tape being leaked and then she’d hurt luther to be with travis who then seemed to take back his feelings for her. she wasn’t sure what she was feeling but part of her wondered if this was heartbreak. or maybe just rock bottom. either way, she needed to pull herself out of that and it started with wanting to be a better friend. killian had given her yet another chance and she didn’t plan on squandering it so she took it upon herself to invite him over to hang out. she’d picked up some in-n-out and even tried to pick up the place after she’d been nesting for a couple weeks in her isolation. she wondered what their fans would think if they found out killian had never even been to her apartment. @killianlaw

    fireball shots were literally the worst idea in the world. actually, jello shots after were probably a worse idea but with his head swimming and unstable, the bright flashing lights and neon colors were even more enchanting that kendall could have possibly imagined. walking was more difficult, maybe, but it didn’t help that he was in platforms and had notoriously weak ankles ( actually he has notoriously weak everything but we digress ). the swirling twirling ambiance is absolutely worth the multiple stumbles and that one time he completely fell to his knees ( and not at all in a fun way ) already in the night. it’s on yet another of these baubles that kendall manages to brace himself not against a wall or any other stable furniture piece scattered around the club but, rather, with his arms wrapped around a boy. figures. he’s also a very tall, very cute and very unsuspecting boy which happens to be just kendall’s type. “ oh my god, ” he breathes out in an appropriately fruity smelling exhale -- grape jello was last, he thinks. “ you just saved my life! how can i repay you? ” there’s a peal of giggles and even in his state of intoxication, glossy eyes were able to focus up on his savior’s visage, unwavering despite how the room spun.

    jett probably should be out front in the audience until his actual performance time comes closer. he’s not needed for a while yet and there are plenty of awards he could watch being handed out. however, jett doesn’t particularly want to see his ex fling put on the part of perfect hostess. instead, he’s lurking backstage, mingling with whoever he could find. when he came across killian, his whole being lit up and he all but drapes himself on his friend before pulling back to brush fingertips over the top of his own silky shirt. “ do you think this is too... nipply? it feels nipply. ” jett asks with a shameless pout ( not like he’s directing killian’s attention to his physique deliberately or anything ). he’s just going to toss a statement jacket over top of it anyways but killian doesn’t need to know that. “ help me. ”

    if he was being truthful, kendall didn’t even remember scoring hot irish killian’s number after their brief ( but intense ) makeout sesh up against the wall of the blacklit club. surprisingly, though, he remembers everything else about their exchange which is why, after a few text pass between them, kendall had tried to pick thing up where they had left off. it seemed only natural, to him anyways. rejection of his flirtations specifically isn’t a sting that kendall feels often so when killian’s turned him down, he’d very nearly pouted and given up on it entirely. instead, though, it had led to an invite which was eight million times better than any steam text convo, reason being something about a paper trail that kendall had promptly tuned out in his excitement. keeping killian entertained while he’d gotten ready was difficult since anything frisky was momentarily paused but, somehow, kendall had managed to do so and doll himself up all at the same time.  how talented. white fishnets and pastel pink garb are all tucked away beneath an oversized black coat that’s far out of season and he’s kept the makeup to a minimal; he knows what sweat does to a full face that’s hastily applied. kendall fully expects to sweat if the club had been just a taste of what’s to come and that thought brings an impish grin onto pink lips as he quickly knocks on killian’s door. “ did somebody order room service? ” he calls coyly, eyes lighting up at the turn of a handle.

Bella was waiting for him by one of the bars, the sun hanging low in the sky. She hadn’t seen him since the previous day though she had made sure to tweet about how much fun she was having with her boyfriend, simply to keep the fans happy. As she waited she ordered shot after shot, not really thinking as she downed the liquid and by the time she saw him approaching she was properly tipsy, bordering on drunk. “Well, if it isn’t my loyal and loving boyfriend.” She joked voice laced with sarcasm as baby blue eyes rolled. She wasn’t mad at Killian per se but she was starting to get tired of putting on a show. He made it look so easy but she was falling apart inside. @killianlaw

“It’s a pink drink, just try it.” Bella rolled her eyes, holding out the pastel concoction that she consumed on nearly a daily basis. “It’s a strawberry acai refresher mixed with coconut milk but I swear it’s amazing.” @killianlaw
