ok for a slightly more sympathetic reading of perri i do think it's possible that at least 50% of the tes backstory we get via him is stuff he thought he was telling people in confidence. because from memory a lot of the early stuff is filtered through perri then trevanion. so it is plausible i think (given that they're like bffsies) that he was talking about stuff to work through it. but because no one is normal about tesadora ever (in terms of men in the series he's probably one of the closest which is. lol.) they all take this as an excuse to start snitching
