Excuse me for sounding like a complete idiot, but is Mystery Skulls really only based off of a music video? I don't understand where all of this stuff is coming from....

Well, no, not technically.

Mystery Skulls is one thing and Mystery Skulls animated is another.

Mystery Skulls is the musical side of things, the source of the song. Whereas the animated music video really is the source of all the nuttiness you see here and in a lot of other blogs.

MS came first with lots of really rad songs and MSA came after, courtesy of MysteryBen and his cohorts.
