We rarely have gotten all three kimono required for a traditional Japanese bride, along with many of the accessories she'd need, including a wataboshi hood!Yes, there are three layers of kimono - an underkimono (juban), the kakeshita that goes on top of that and would be belted with the obi, and the final uchikake layer (called a shiromuku) that is draped on top. 

Each kimono has a different patterning.In addition to the kimono, this set includes: - the wataboshi hood that hides her horns of jealousy (!) - obi jime and obi age- a white maru obi with crane motif - a koshihimo to tie the kimono beneath the obi - obi decorations: folding fan, small purse, and kaiken

The three kimono nest well together, and the obi and accessories all match well.  The hood is a plain white silk with red lining that goes with the set well enough but does not have the white crane motif you'll find on the other pieces.
