Welcome to My Blog

Hi, and welcome! This blog is dedicated to celebrating Lou Ferrigno Jr. and his incredible portrayal of Tommy on 9-1-1. His performance, and the deeply meaningful relationship between Tommy and Buck, resonated with me in ways I never expected.

As a butch, straight-acting gay man, I rarely see myself represented on screen—especially in stories that break the usual stereotypes. Tommy and Buck’s relationship was powerful, authentic, and refreshing, showing that love between two masculine men can exist without compromise. It was a rare moment of true representation, and for the first time in a long time, I felt seen.

Lou Ferrigno Jr.’s performance brought light into a dark time in my life. His work gave depth and honesty to a character that so many of us connected with. That’s why the Season 8, Episode 6 breakup hit so hard—it felt like losing something rare and important.

This blog is my way of honoring both the actor and the character. It’s a space to celebrate, discuss, and appreciate the impact of Tommy and Lou’s performance. If this storyline meant something to you too, you’re in the right place.
