The Underdog

They thought he was a himbo. A pretty face on a great body, with decent acting skills. Good enough to be the love interest of the main character for several episodes.

All I wanted was an older gay man who has never known true love to have his sunshine boyfriend.

All I wanted was to see atleast for once that older gay men don't get left alone.

All I wanted for once was to see that queer people who take blow after blow that life throws at us at least for once find happiness.

All I wanted was to see for once that an older lonely queer man, who didn't have anyone on his side , who didn't have a found family to support him, finding them later in life.

For once I wanted to see it's never too late to be included even if you have been rejected time and time again.

To see a man for whom NO ONE showed up other than his boyfriend, to finally have people at his side from now on.

All I wanted was to see older queer people getting to have their happily ever after too, not just romantically.

I guess this was too much to ask for.

But it's alright I guess, Tommy Kinnard will find a family in us, the older queer people who are just like him left behind or forced to leave people behind.
