Hey everyone! My latest fic, published for @flufftober, is out! This fluffy fic fulfills the "Make it Platonic!" challenge by Flufftober 2025 this year, particularly the Alt 6 "First Date" prompt. I will publish fics for the other two prompts for this challenge ("Alt 9. Planning the Perfect Proposal," and "Alt 10. And They Lived Happily Ever After") later this year. Here's the summary of the above-linked fic:

Iku and Asako have their first date-not-date. It is supposed to be a test run before each of them ask out the men they have crushes on. Particularly, Asako wants to help Iku so that she is prepared when she asks out Dojo, her "prince." After leaving the Kantō library base, rain threatens to ruin the get-together. Even so, Asako and Iku continue to enjoy each other's company, whether traveling to a cafe which serves tea, a mall, the park, and many other places across the city…

Anyway, this post overrides my previously pinned post. This fluffy fic can be read fandom-blind without any knowledge whatsoever of Library War, although if you know that fandom, it would certainly increase your enjoyment. This fic has intimate/romantic female friendship, a first date-not-date, platonic kissing, cheek kisses, blushing, teasing, womance, queerplatonic relationships, female/female platonic relationships, Japanese characters, tea drinking, light social commentary, self-acceptance, rain, bad weather, and more!

This fic also passed the Bechdel Test somehow and is less than 2,000 words. I hope you all enjoy this fic! Happy start of Kindness Week.

This is nothing I have not shared before, but it bears repeating again: I've been nothing but astounded by your warmth, generosity, and kindness since I joined the fandom two and a half years ago. You were so welcoming, willing to help, and had such a generosity of spirit... you served as an example of what it means to be a good fandom friend, and it helped me find my footing here.

You go out of your way to be kind and supportive of other writers and artists in our little corner of the world. And I know much of your generosity goes unnoticed... because you want it to... and that says so much about who you are. The more I've gotten to know you, the more I like what I find... and that is an unusual occurrence in this world!

Thank you for gracing us with your talent, kindness, humor, and everything that makes you uniquely YOU! And I thank you for your advice, support, and friendship. I hope you stick around here for a long time because it wouldn't be the same without you.

Now, I know we didn't have to create for today's event, but there was no way I was passing up a chance for our girls to have some fun... no way! So, here's a little follow-up to your drabble from earlier this week. I hope it makes you smile, as you've made me smile many times before.

good morning followers, me being me again! today begins Kindness Week nationally and i’m here with some more kindnes and health reminders because i️ want you all to be happy and healthy

first off, if you haven’t been kind to yourself in awhile, here’s some things to say to yourself:

1. you are enough.

2. you are going to get through it.

and if you haven’t practiced self kindness lately, do so! it can be anything from putting makeup on today to having a milkshake to sleeping an extra hour.

also, don’t forget to drink water and eat food today!

Here concludes Kindness Week! You all are truly amazing and I’m sure so many creators enjoyed receiving so many positive messages this past week. Sometimes I’d scroll through someone’s blog and see a flurry of messages from you all which was just awesome to see!

Thank you all for spreading an influx of positivity this week! This will definitely have to be an event I do again.
